The worst operator I've ever used.

The worst operator I've ever used. The internet is absolutely unstable. The speed is 0.2mb/s and this is 4g coverage? According to diagnostics, it feels like they're "scattering" it across different servers, like some kind of parasite. Ping is crazy. +- normal internet only at night. I don't recommend it

False Advertising Buyer Beware.

False Advertising Buyer Beware. You have to purchase a plan by contract before you get your free month and then you have very little data as they say it's a FAIR USAGE POLICY. Absolutely A Disgrace. It Looks like a great deal but it's not. Beware.

Absolutely terrible. Indescribably useless. Data rarely ever works, and if it does, it’s 3g. There is no roaming despite what they say. I’ve tried everything and even got in contact with 48 to fix the issue and still nothing works. On top of that, you are not able to call non Irish numbers. UK, Spain, America etc. Complete joke. I don’t understand how something can be so useless. I am not usually the type to leave reviews and complain about things, but holy god 48 is terrible. The price is good, but the quality of services needs a serious overhaul.

I have never seen as bad a service as…

I have never seen as bad a service as 48 its terrible . I could not make calls or send texts most of the time since i joined it . Its cheap but that really counts for nothing when it does not work . I have lived in 12 countries but i have never been in this position So its time to get out .

Roaming issues

They have made it very difficult, sometimes impossible to use your phone (both data and network) abroad, i.e. UK and EU. It's crazy that travelling from Dublin to Donegal, my phone has zero connectivity for 90mins. Their ridiculous excuse for a workaround actually works better in Zagreb than in Derry. Another issue is that there are login problems nearly every time. I end up having to login on desktop to change password. It works until the next time I login. Other than these issues, I like the range of membership options they offer. But I have to switch to phone network that will work in Europe as it should.

No coverage abroad, although advertised

So far so good in Ireland, but I was not able to use ANY of the 10GB abroad in the EU. Spent an hour with the support trying troubleshooting I had already tried before even contacting support, until they finally admitted that it’s an issue on their side. So far there hasn’t been any fix. Apparently many people have issues with this, any comments 48?

Don't buy, Robs your data & Terrible customer care

Terrible customer care and Live chat is only way of contacting the company outside of emailing support at 48months.zendesk.com. Had an issue immediately after buying somehow 100gb of data was used in 8 days. Ohh and it was used by 2 elderly people who barely use the internet. 48's response was to send me a data report a month later after 4 live chat sessions that was 5 cells of numbers with no useful information.

I've been with 48 for about 10 years…

I've been with 48 for about 10 years now and would highly recommend them. I see a lot of other reviewers have complained about roaming and having to change settings. While yes, you do need to do this, I've found it to only take a minute and you're on to the network. You just need to be sure to write down the instructions before you travel. Small price to pay for such a well-priced package. The coverage can be patchy in very rural areas but that's true of all networks in Ireland. All-in-all, very happy with them and don't intend to change providers anytime soon.

Meh….

Price for Ireland is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ However… the coverage is unbelievably bad. I literally now don’t have any network signal and I don’t know how to fix it. You contact the customer service and they tell you to do APN this and APN that, I honestly don’t think a customer should be doing that… but the provider. Anyway, the worst thing is that you have NO DATA ABROAD, absolute nightmare - was out for four weeks because no network/internet, no way of contacting my family but by WI-FI 🤦🏼‍♀️ The price is good… but too much problems - I’m switching back to the regular providers.

While the offer is good and network is…

While the offer is good and network is ok they're live chat and online support is diabolical. For a communications company I would think a grasp of the English language would be a given. They say they'll respond in 24 hrs. Days and weeks later they start the whole process with you again and again. They sound like broken robots every time they message back.

Better than you think

The fact that you pay €10.99 a month for 100GB of data any calls and any text to all networks! They do not have personal hotspot set up for iPhones but when you contact them they give you access to it, it may take a few hours to update but your personal hotspot will be turned on. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

First day and it's a bad experience

I am with this mobile operator for the first day and there is a failure, I do not send text messages, there is still some failure, my phone number is not displayed on my phone, I do not trust them.I'm going back to the old network.
