The worst operator I've ever used.

The worst operator I've ever used. The internet is absolutely unstable. The speed is 0.2mb/s and this is 4g coverage? According to diagnostics, it feels like they're "scattering" it across different servers, like some kind of parasite. Ping is crazy. +- normal internet only at night. I don't recommend it

False Advertising Buyer Beware.

False Advertising Buyer Beware. You have to purchase a plan by contract before you get your free month and then you have very little data as they say it's a FAIR USAGE POLICY. Absolutely A Disgrace. It Looks like a great deal but it's not. Beware.

Absolutely terrible. Indescribably useless. Data rarely ever works, and if it does, it’s 3g. There is no roaming despite what they say. I’ve tried everything and even got in contact with 48 to fix the issue and still nothing works. On top of that, you are not able to call non Irish numbers. UK, Spain, America etc. Complete joke. I don’t understand how something can be so useless. I am not usually the type to leave reviews and complain about things, but holy god 48 is terrible. The price is good, but the quality of services needs a serious overhaul.

Do not use if you need roaming

48 is great if you are staying in Ireland. However, roaming is absolutely awful. Literally as soon as I drove into NI, it went to emergency calls only. Contacting customer support is an absolute joke. They keep blaming your handset or settings. However, I was travelling with my partner who also has 48. Guess what, she was also on Emergency calls only. After 2 days the issue resolved it's self and worked fine for 2 weeks. Then it happened again. This time they played a master stroke and asked me me to reset my connections. Which also deletes all your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth pairings. And still didn't solve the issue as it is a 48 Roaming issue not, handset settings. Then trying to get them to escalate it to a formal complaint is like pulling teeth. I know 3 the parent company have a reputation for bad customer service, but it seems 48 go all out to make it even worse. Now switched to vodafone - which is more expensive, but at least I can roam with confidence.

It was terrible i came to Spain and i was sure i have a calls and data But NO, i didnt have anything. Spend time in Madrid without data it's the same like walking without eyes, thx 48ie for a spoiled trip 👍 If you wanna get good reviews just don't write about rouming, don't mislead people because you don't have rouming

Horrible service

Horrible service, signal cuts randomly for long periods of time .I was a loyal customer for years but the network is disgraceful. I was made fun of by any Indian "agent" Ekta who ignored my problem as I had been through the same time wasting 2 weeks earlier and the same nonsense before that aswell. They run through "APN connection" and then it's "handset issues" and then it's "sim card issues". You won't receive any help. I was refused contact information for any office in Ireland. Scam network. The response I got was I was not to worry as the agent would receive feedback and that I had received my refund. They don't care if you can use the network you paid for and expect you to buy a second phone so they can test their simcards work?

App worst-designed I've ever used! Seriously.…

Their app is one of the worst-designed I have ever used! I wanted to add credit which apparently must be added in order to make international calls but it is almost impossible to find out your current credit balance nor add more on the app. Thus is just basic stuff and so it should be so easy to do. I've had to message them so often to help me do stuff. They have a large so-called knowledgebase and troubleshooting which should not be necessary for basic stuff! Very user-unfriendly!

48 the network thats the equivalent buying from the euro 2 shop

48. Great price but not worth the stress along with it. Went abroad and had no data the whole time even after trying many, many troubleshooting 'solutions'. That was a deal breaker considering my missus is with gomo and had no problems. Worst coverage I ever experienced. I live in a city and couldn't stream a video without it buffering. Constantly switching on/off flight mode to load something. People couldn't call me as they would get 'this number is unavailable at the moment. Horrible network. Again great price but not worth the stress

Working well

I had given this a bad review because I couldn't connect in the UK but have since connected so updated my rating from 2 to 4. To get it to connect in the UK I had to change my APN from the one they said to use which is 48months.liffeytelecom.com to tescomobile.liffeytelecom.com and it registered on that network and works, I've been able to make calls and access data.

DOESNT WORK

Network is Cheaper to use but only works in Ireland. No chance of reception out of Ireland in any country, even in UK it would not work. There is no contact number for customer care so, all the conversation via email or tweets on twitter. There they will keep on changing the agents who will repeatedly ask to verify. So its not worth it to use if you are going to travel internationally.

Generally works well in Ireland but not in my home in a built up area in Oranmore. Roaming is completely hit and but doesn't work at all most of the time - even when you get to know about the Sim app that's needed to set it up. Support is non existant😵

great value for Money .....

great value for Money ...... got the service went I was pushed into WFH and didn't have much need for my data until a recent hospital stay and it worked without a fault as my hotspot and I still didn't even use a 1/4 of my allowance over a week stay streaming Sky Go and netflix etc
