There ARE hidden charges. Zest claimed roadside assistance was included but Dollar were adamant it wasn’t and showed me on their system. I had to pay $10 per day or they wouldn’t give me the car. Zest also don’t mention hefty tax to be paid when you pick up the car. They haven’t bothered to reply to my complaint……. Not impressed.

Excellent rental company who get you good deals and they have a very supportive customer service team. I had an issue with the hire company in Portugal and Zest were very helpful in resolving the issue. I will definitely book through Zest again.

Quick and efficient pick up and drop off. Friendly staff making for an easy process. Car was clean and quite new. Will be using again.

The guy was cheerful despite it being 8pm on a Sunday evening! He was friendly and clearly explained the process. The car was near by, it was easy to pick up and drop off was even smoother. Another guy approached me, (there were a lot of people waiting around as many hire companies use this cabin) and as soon as I showed him the key fob he said that was his company- he checked the paperwork and the car ( really thoroughly) and said good to go. From arriving at the airport to leaving the car possibly took less than 10 minutes.

Zest has been my Go-To car rental booking service for several years now! The rental terms always include a collision damage waiver with zero excess! Getting this coverage directly through the rental car company would be much more expensive than what Zest provides. They also provide great information and instructions to assist in making the whole rental experience easier. (My most recent experience was a 5-week rental in the US, with Dollar Rental Cars, and I was very pleased with the service I received from them as well). I highly recommend Zest for all your rental car needs!

Great service at Faro airport and online with Zest’s message service. Our car was in very good condition and served all our needs. The price was good also. We’d certainly consider Zest in future if pricing was as attractive.

The staff both picking up the vehicle and dropping the vehicle off was very quick easy and the staff was very polite.

The staff were patient and helpful despite our delay at Mallaga airport. The car was exactly as arranged and we were very quickly on the road to start our holiday. Arrangements for return were easy. Overall an excellent service. Will definately use them again.

When something goes wrong, does the companies customer service sort it out. In my case, I returned my New Zealand car rental (via Zest), with a crack in the glass in a side mirror. I advised the car rental that I had insured through Zest including glass so would need the paperwork once they knew what the charge would be. They then took £550 (an obvious overcharge for a crack in glass - there were no marks anywhere else) - but even after many emails and 2 phone calls over a period of 10 days, refused to provide any invoice or similar, or indeed any answer. I then called Zest Customer services for assistance and with-in 7 days I had the invoice, and a few days later Zest's insurance company had provided my refund.

It’s always strange when you arrive in a different country or even a new city, but the staff at Port Lauderdale Alamo car rental were so very helpful and friendly, they made it a breeze and explained everything it was very refreshing. Also when we returned our vehicle to Orlando airport, again they were so friendly, we can’t praise them enough?

This was a really easy way to rent a car, giving us added confidence that there would be no surprise extras when we got to the pick up desk. It all worked exactly as promised. Highly recommended!

Originally made a booking with Zest for a car for our trip in June. I saw a better deal on their site for a slightly bigger car at a cheaper price. Requested a change to my booking on Easter Sunday not expecting a reply until after the bank holiday weekend. Had an almost instant reply from Alistair who was prompt, polite and went out of his way to find me a better deal with the car that I was looking for. Couldn’t fault the whole process. Have now booked with Drive4Fun via Zest. Let’s see if I can give the five stars as well!
