Great customer service, good price on a Hertz car and a brand new vehicle. Easy collection and drop off in Dublin. Will definitely use Zest again.

Great customer support

The booking process was intuitive and customer support when I had a query over return of the security deposit was prompt and friendly. The local rental company Fontana that Zest use in Cyprus was excellent.

I always use Zest for my car rental bookings as they are so helpful if you do happen to have queries or issues occur. I needed a late change of dates as my husband suffered an injury and needed an operation but this was all dealt swiftly and with a refund for unused dates. I also always use Centauro cars in Alicante airport via Zest as the cars are always really good.

Helpful customer support

Initial booking process straightforward and reasonable price. Due to a major road accident, we missed our flight, but was able to get through to customer support easily and they contacted the relevant hire desk and rang back quickly to confirm that our car would be held for us.

Zest Car Rental - Just brilliant ....again!

For the second holiday running I used Zest Car Rental to sort out my hire car whilst in Malta. Quite honestly, as far as I'm concerned, there is no better company out there. Prices are competitive, it's very clear who you are renting with and the choice of vehicle made. Zest provide a top up insurance to take away all the hassle you used to get with the hire company, in fact in the last two instances, they've never even mentioned it. The booking system with Zest is simple and straightforward, you can pay a small deposit and the rest later, if you wish, they really do provide a brilliant service from start to finish. I would not hesitate to use their services again or recommend them to anyone.

Brilliant service from Zest

Brilliant service from Zest. I needed to make late notice change to my pick up time. My email was answered quickly. When the terms and conditions meant the change was not possible, Zest cancelled the existing booking and created a new one at the requested time with no fee. They even refunded a small amount as the new pick up time was cheaper. Also they don’t charge excessive sums for enhanced insurance like almost all other car hire companies do. Very impressed and I’ll definitely look to use them again in future.

The very best you can deal with

Probably the most efficient, courteous company you can deal with. The staff are unfailingly pleasant and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them, either by phone or live web chat. Zest also seems to have a great relationship with the car hire companies it deals with. I have never had a bad car when I've booked through Zest.

Poor service from Zest

Poor service from Zest! I was promised callbacks that never came. After a minor mistake with my booking dates (before even leaving for my holiday), I was told I'd have to rebook entirelyβ€”no flexibility, even though I hadn't collected the car yet and paid for an extra day so if anything they were better off! Zack, who took my original booking, said he’d look into a refund after I rebooked (at additional cost), but I’ve heard nothing from him or Zest since, shock.... On top of that, I paid Β£480 for an estate car suitable for a family of 5 but was given a Renault Captur, a much smaller and cheaper car. When I raised this with Hertz, they were unhelpful, leaving us no choice but to squeeze in with luggage on laps for a 45-minute drive. Totally unacceptable experience from start to finish. Happy for this to be shared, though I doubt Zest will take accountability.

Zest Car Hire Booking

Booking with Zest is so easy on their website and prices are competitive. The bonus of having an extra free driver is great, as is the option to take the extra insurance cover out at the time of booking for peace of mind should an accident occur. Fortunately this has never happened to us. It also takes the hassle out of upselling when in a foreign country. Collection and returning the car was straightforward and the staff were very friendly and spoke good English in Malta where he hired our car.
