Excellent introduction to water no matter how young your baby
The swim instructors are fantastic, we had 2 in our time with water babies. From our first lesson when my little one was 6 weeks old to my last session when she was 8 months old. They were kind, helpful & most of all kept us safe in the water whilst having fun and bonding with our babies. It definitely helped my confidence & my little one has always loved the water & isn't scared at all. The only reason for 1 star short of 5 was the venue, because it is a private school it wasn't catered for the usual public swimming. So the changing facilities weren't set up with cubicles, showers, changing tables for babies etc. However, it was very local for us, so we were happy to compromise on this. We could have had lessons further afield with a more formal changing facility but this wasn't practical for us to travel.

Toria the waterbabies instructor at jethen house is absolutely amazing!! She goes above and beyond to make parents and children feel comfortable, supported and heard. Nothing is too much trouble and any concerns you have regarding swimming with your little one is always taken into consideration and the support you didnt even know you needed is alway's given to make you feel confident and ready to swim with you baby. You can really tell the passion she has for waterbabies not only as an instructor but also as a parent who has been through it twice. Im so so glad I chose waterbabies and im so so glad we were put into Torias class.
Progressive and fun
Lessons are progressive and so much fun for me and my daughter. We have been attending since she was 12 weeks old and have no intentions to stop. The confidence gained in just 14 weeks is incredible. Lessons do tend to run late meaning we start later than expected, and this obviously will happen when dealing with children! but I have noticed that our session is occasionally cut five minutes short which is disappointing considering each session is over £20 for half hour.

Love these classes
Both my girls have swum with WaterBabies so it’s safe to say we love the classes that both Debi and Cate deliver. They make the classes fun and engage with the children so well, catering to their individual needs too. Would definitely recommend!

Brilliant
Supportive, kind and caring, with a brilliant structure and prioritising water safety. So glad we found water babies and this team are fab. Support in sorting lessons out, and support in the water, really can't ask for more.

We've had a positive experience with Water Babies overall. The instructors are fantastic and really great with the kids, making the sessions enjoyable and engaging. While occasional pool maintenance disrupts lessons, the energy and professionalism of teachers like Natalie always shine through. It's a bit pricey, but it’s a special weekly highlight for us!

Great swimming lessons for little ones
Our son, Luca, has been going to Water Babies since he was around 6 months old. He's now 3 and a half, and is full of confidence in the water. Debi pushes Luca where she feels he could be progressing and he's come on leaps and bounds in her lessons. He looks forward to swimming with Debi every week and often tells her he's missed her if we miss a lesson for any reason. Thank you Debi!

Great experience
We have been bringing our two girls to Water Babies since they were about 4 months; they’re now almost 2 and it’s been such a fantastic experience for us as parents but also for our girls. They have learnt so much in the time that Debi has been instructing them and are very confident when in the water - extremely helpful for us when it’s bath time! Debi is very helpful and skilled in knowing what to do, whilst letting your child learn at their own pace and never forcing them out of their comfort zone. Again, it has been truly amazing watching how much the girls have been able to progress at such a young age, which has all come from the skills that Debi has not only taught them, but also taught us as parents/ guardians, helping us to harness and build our own confidence while swimming with the children. I would highly reccomend this class to other parents as it’s such a great experience being taught how to swim safely with your child, whilst also teaching them the correct safety methods within the water.

Fun, Interactive and A Great Experience
I started waterbabies in October 2022 with my little girl and we absolutely love going to the lesson as they are fun and interactive. It lovely to see my little one gaining so much confidence in the water also I'm not a very confident swimmer and I feel like I'm gaining more confidence in the water to. I always recommend waterbabies to any new parents as I love the bond you make and the time you get with your little one in the water is precious.
