I never received my marriage certificate that cost me 40.00 to process. When I sent an email to ask why they responded that I should call tha Arkansas health department to inquire. Which is what I paid them for. I said as much to them and requested refund they came back with a response that after researching my trans, it is past the the time off refund. The website says 90 days l. I started this May 1 today is June 19. Well before the 90 days. Do not use this website!!! They are scamming people out of their money!! We paid for expedited service and it's going on a month now and we still haven't received the birth certificate and everytime we call to find out what's going on all we get is basically support saying "sorry not our problem" or "the expedited payment is only for our website not for the whole process including the health department in florida" they are stealing from people who are just trying to get their birth certificates so we can work will not be going thru this company again. Got told june 5th the birth certificate will be here in 10 business days and now being told the health department will be sending it out in minimum 2 weeks

I am telling you DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! You can NEVER speak to a supervisor and I submitted my Request Since April 15th 2025 it is now June 18th today and my license has expired and I live in another state with no license means no job for me I drive for a living this company had the NERVE to call me and say on June 17th 2025 you will need another form of identification because your license HAS EXPIRED!!!!! WTF is wrong with these people charged me $44 to apply and lied all the way until June 18th go through your state where you live!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE UNTRAINED Customer service representatives that you can barely understand with names like “JOE” when you know damn well that is not their name ! But they wanted me to pay another $29 to expedite their service????? When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was hung up on, muted, told they can’t transfer calls and last but not least just got back on the phone and lied an said no supervisor is available!!! I am telling you I RUN!!!! You will regret you ever sent This company a dime untrained, unprofessional, Rude, unprepared so called Customer Service agents with English as a second language RUN RUN RUN!!!!

Please do not use this company. They take your money and do not deliver. I have had two order now where I was overcharged and they refused to cancel them. They ignored my emails asking me to cancel the order. I placed an order on March 31st. When I logged back in to check the delivery time, I saw June. I emailed them on April 4th asking them to cancel. They did not. I emailed them again on June 10th asking to cancel again and refund me, and they refused and gave me more bull-manure. I had to submit an order with VitalChek, and pay AGAIN, but with another company. EDIT: Dear VitalRecords, I have contacted you multiple times about this. Please simply refund my order as I asked on April 4th. I have contacted you over five times. VRO1822289.

In reply to Vitalrecordsonline's reply to my review - the information in your reply is inaccurate. The "wet" signature was provided at least 3 weeks ago.

No good, I sent my signed application and tracked it. It was delivered to their 3Rd party receivables. Then the main contact said their office hasn't received it yet. After 3 weeks. Don't waste your time.

I been waiting almost a year for my birth certificate and vitalrecordsonline has no answer for me. They tell me all they did was print application and mail with a check. They tell me to contact health department to find out status because it's not part of their service ..it's been almost a year and check never been cashed. I tell them well don't you think they never received my application and check. Health department is telling me to go thru Vitalchek website not Vitalrecordsonline because they can't look up third party companies. Vitalrecordsonline is not giving me a refund and they are doing absolutely nothing to find out what's going on to make Progress. Vitalrecordsonline is a waste of time and money period

Be careful what you search on the web. For some reason, Vital Records Online came up in my search for obtaining a copy of my marriage certificate in Los Angeles County. Little did I know that I was not getting my records straight from the registrar-recorder’s office. I paid $66 for a copy of my certificate and to have it expedited (5-7 weeks). What a crock! Plus an additional $15 to have my application notarized. It is now June and I sent in the application in the beginning of April. My payment was processed April 22nd. I called the Los Angeles Registrar-Recorder office yesterday, to check on the status of my request and was told I went through a second party site. It is still processing so it still could be weeks before I receive it. She was astounded at how much I paid and told me I could have requested my certificate directly through them for $17!! 😡 I had to cancel travel plans because I needed the certificate to get my real California ID.

First of all, this company is supposed to expedite applications for personal records. They charge you for this although they do nothing more than present your records applications to the required state agency. So, in short, they are virtually useless. I submitted an application for a state birth certificate. I was informed that it would take 12 weeks or more then another seven mailing days to receive my NY state birth certificate.

Their software didn't accept a picture of my driver's license. Never could talk to a human to resolve. Hope they refund my $113 expeditiously.

DO NOT USE VITAL RECORDS!!!! I sent my application and paid from my card online on 3/16. I contacted them in May saying I hadn’t received the certificate they said they received the application 4/1 and it would be at most 5 week. By six weeks from the April date I still hadn’t received it and contacted them again and they told me the check that I sent with the application didn’t clear until 5/21 but I didn’t send a check or mail an application and the money was out of my account on 3/17. It’s June and I still don’t have the birth certificate I requested and paid for in March and they are trying to gaslight me at this point Update: vital records responded to this review much quicker than they responded to any of my emails. Regarding the response i apologize I should not have said do not use vital records. I should have said do not use vital records unless you have 3 plus months that you are willing to wait for your documents. June 10th and still havnt received a document I paid $40 for on March 16th

I had misplaced my birth certificate and needed to order a new and needed quickly. I used Vital Records Online because they offer a expedited service. The expedited service is only for them to review your documents before they send it to vital records for the state. I had to call everyday for updates and every single day they told me I needed one more document after being told the day before everything was good to go. Over a month later I am still waiting for my birth certificate and they have no idea when I will get it.... very disappointed for the amount I paid and time I spent trying to contact them and provide all the add'l documents.

For an online process they were supposed to be faster, but after I paid for their expedited service, it was a huge disappointment and waste of time. They were supposed to process my B.C and send it within two weeks, however i sent them several mails with no response. It’s a waste of time. I was able to use a third party company that I saw online who were actually able to deliver to me in time. That’s when I got to know better. In urgent cases, Globalfakes turnaround time and delivery is what anyone would need. They’ve got a great customer service as well.

Chgd 48.00 for birth certificate. Then received documents stating I needed to go to a notary, 30.00 and another 15.00 for birth cert. False advertising. Very dishonest!

I have been waiting over a year to get my divorce certificate. Vital Records said that they were backlogged so I waited for my certificate. I contacted them several times about it while they kept saying they were still searching. Now, Vital Records says I don't have a divorce certificate or none was found. Although they still charged me 63.00 for nothing. I just called the courthouse to find out why Vital Records couldn't find my Certificate... the person I talked to said they didn't know anything about that and sent me to the proper website where it cost 5.00 to get my certificate. But Vital Records say that they are still going to charge me because they worked so hard to find my certificate. I also paid extra to have this record sent by FEDEX but instead they sent it regular mail. I mean at least send me the form through FEDEX I paid for it; instead they sent regular mail... .73 cents for a stamp. Something I've noticed... is all the reviews that say 'Easy to use,' or service is great!' without any information as why they are so great. ^^

If I could give it less than one star I would. The company is a rip off providing no more than a Google/MIcrosoft populated form of the information you provide them. At a cost of $59.00 for forms that are free and easily accessible online is paramount to fraud and usury. I would never recommend them. I used them once for payment source which is why I thought they were ok for this purpose. SURPRISE ... I am still left to research, and submit this form along with payment to the state office. IT WAS A TOTAL WASTE OF MY MONEY AND TIME. DO NOT USE THEM FOR FORMS OR RESERACH ! especially a death certificate I would never. I do plan to report them to the better business bureau.

I have had to send several messages asking about my birth certificate request. I paid for expedited service. April 4 was when I paid for process. It sat for almost two weeks with nothing processing. Finally they said they sent the request on to State. Nothing after 3 weeks. After a long phone call I got someone who said she would process this immediately. this was May 15 now. Now 05/19 just got a note asking about proof of my payment. SCAM

I ordered a copy of my daughter birth certificate MONTHS AGO! Even after I paid for quick shipping I was supposed to receive it back in April finally I gave up and requested a refund but was denied even though I never received the B.C and this issue was clearly on their end . DONT USE THEM!!!!!! They will screw you over!!!!!
