My experience with this service was TERRIBLE!! Their customer service sucks. This week, I spoke with two different customer service agents. The first one informed me that my birth certificate had a processing issue and had not been sent. I asked her why no one reached out to me by phone or email. She couldn't answer that. She clarified the processing question with me over the phone. She also stated she would call me back by the end of the day. I called back to speak with someone about my processing time, and the customer service representative was very rude. They began to tell me that they had contacted me when they had not, and I hadn't responded to them. She was very argumentative and did not have her facts correct. This is a terrible service they up charge and you get slow service. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Didn't take so long to fill out the certificate of my birth certificate!!

They asked for more documents to prove I lived at the address it was mailing to because my ID had a old address that it wasn't mailing to. So I sent a bank statement from NFCU and my internet bill. They stated that NFCU was a credit card company and not a banking institution. I tried to explain to them many times but didn't go no where. Asked for a supervisor, took 10 mins of me keep asking for a supervisor to get one which again, said Navy federal credit union isn't a banking institution. Just asked for a refund and will use the other online company that had better service

I requested a birth certificate from NY state in December. I sent them all the correct information. I received a letter from NY state saying they could not find certificate of birth. I knew there had to be one. I called the office of the state of NY. They informed me that the records should have been sent to the City of NY/ 5 boroughs. Vital Records should have known that. They also informed me that this was not a legitimate company that they dealt with. I tried to get a refund from Vital Records but was denied. Please note that if you want a legit company this is not it.

I paid $85.50 to to expedite and receive my Dad’s birth certificate. My expected delivery date was October 2nd. I paid and made the order the first week of July. In 2025, it should not take that long to”Expedite “ one piece of paper. After sending them all of my personal information, the next moth I receive a $15 check made out to the people that issues the birth certificates in New Orleans, and they want MORE of my personal information. At this point I’m done, and have asked for my money back. I’ve stated to them in email correspondence that I will report them to the BBB( mot knowing they have several complaints already) and will leave negative reviews until my money’s refunded. Don’t purchase. The correspondence is as terrible as the service. Without tangible results. As stated, I will keep learning negative reviews until I receive my full refund.

This company is a scam I purchased or placed an order for my birth certificate in February. We are in August and I still yet to receive my birth certificate. They told me it would take 10 weeks. I paid all this money for nothing and then on top of that, they don’t even want to refund my money. I would not recommend this company

This company is an absolute scam. I paid nearly $200 for my birth certificate to be processed quickly, including extra for FedEx overnight shipping, and almost 2 months later it still has not been delivered. I urgently needed my birth certificate to obtain a travel ID for a work trip, and because of this company’s complete failure, I missed the deadline. I called multiple times, left voicemails, and even messaged them online, but received no helpful response. When I finally got through, the representative spoke very broken English, refused to transfer me to a manager, and told me they could do nothing—not even issue a refund. I feel completely taken advantage of. This company is unreliable and unprofessional, and I strongly recommend using VitalChek instead. They are legitimate and far more dependable for official records. If I could give NO stars I would!!!!!! SCAM!!!! 08/17- received a response from Vital records stating they see my application has been sent for my birth certificate. Their response is still not even valid. I also put in for my certificate with Vital Check and for $26 I have already received my certified birth certificate, THREE WEEKS ago. So AGAIN Vital Records is a scam!!! I wasted my time and money and caution anyone from attempting to use them! Please learn from my error and go to Vital Check. It was easy and received my order in about a month. I put placed an order with both places on July 11 and STILL not have received my certificate through Vital Records! Even after paying to over night my wet signature. Vital Check also did not have to request me to send a wet signature and I did not pay extra for fast shipping.

This is a scam no matter how they flip it. I requested a duplicate marriage license and first not contact that my application was not complete properly. I had to keep calling them to ensure my application was completed properly. After it was the mail your application not processed online. I went to another site and received my certificate, I called for a refund and they refused. There reason was since processed and mailed out they wouldn't refund me. I don't have any proof they it will be processed, but knowing other companies can get you your request faster, I would not use this site.
