My Honest Review
Having flagged my honest review, This is a rewrite to show what I endured in the hands of Victor Michael. Victor Michael displayed a series of dishonest behaviors you really need to be aware of before getting into business with them. It all started with Piyush, who showed us an apartment. While being fully aware that the last tenant moved out because of the high cost of heating the flat due to the single glazed window, Piyush told us that the apartment actually has very low electric bill due to the solar panel that are on the roof. I believed him as I couldn't really climb up to the roof to confirm. By the time I realized this deceit , it was already too late and that was how we ended up in a constantly cold apartment. Once you turn on the heater, the smart meter shows consumption at up to £4 per hour. At 12 hrs per day and 30 days per month, you'll be looking at about £1,500 in electric bill monthly during cold months. Piyush did not show any remorse for this misleading information as he claimed that he did tell me about this fictitious solar system but that the property was never advertised on that basis. Very convenient. Then you move onto Kelly, who other reviewers have described as rude. She denies every conversation minutes after you get off the phone with her. She was quite a bully. And was constantly trying to access our apartment while we were out. And when I refused, she would threaten me with some charges that would be put to me if I didn't let them into the apartment. Kelly booked an engineer's visit and we agreed on the date, on the agreed day, Kelly contacted me and said she had to cancel the visit and that it would need to be done the next day, I explained that I can't take 2 consecutive days off, and that was when she tried to intimidate me, she claimed that my contract states that they need to give me 24hrs notice to access the apartment, a had to explain that it doesn't give her the right to issue multiple 24hr notices and expect me to sit at home everyday in order to honor the 24hr notice agreement. She left the stairway of the apartment in a very horrible and dirty state and I had to make several requests before she sent a cleaner to clean the stairway. Her explanation was that it wasn't yet due for a clean. The stair way had not been cleaned for about 3 months at that point. We suffered from giant spider infestation, and despite all my pleading for a fumigation of the compound, Kelly refused and we had to endure living with the spiders as all our efforts to eliminate them were futile because the ones outside would just come back inside after a short while. The giant spiders were crawling out of everywhere, toilet, kitchen , shower, and light fixture. My 8 yr old daughter would constantly run into our room at night as she was having nightmares about the spiders. And when we moved out, Kelly cooked up a series of false claims in order to withhold our deposit. All her claims were found to be false and untrue. Such behavior should neither be endured nor experienced by any tenant. I wish someone had told me about these agents before I got into a contract with them. We had a horrible experience renting from Victor Michael and it turned out to be very expensive as we bought furniture for the apartment that we didn't need as we moved into one of our properties. I hope this review helps someone, I hope landlords can read this and think twice before giving Victor Michael their properties to manage. You know them now. You're informed

We were first time buyers. Piyush handled our case and he was really good. Hands on with everything. We started the process in January and completion was in March. Definitely recommend Victor Michael.

Renting in London with Victor Michael : One of the worst experiences in my life
Renting in London with Victor Michael Estate Agents has been one of the worst experiences of my life. I have tried different agencies before, but this one has turned out to be the most unapologetic and insensitive of all. Throughout our whole stay in one of their apartments in East London, they have never considered our rights as tenants and only cared to portray the landlord's interests. After we decided to leave, they expected us to hire a cleaning professional service even though we had spent time cleaning the place and making sure to leave the flat in excellent conditions. Without our consent they employed a professional cleaner worth 150 pounds (with parking excluded) and expected us to pay just because that was their policy (which was not even required in the contract and so not mandatory). As tenants we have felt neglected and disrespected, above all from the Property Management Department in Stratford who made the whole experience even worse than it already was). Do not recommend to rent with this agency if you want to have a nice experience renting in London. I was misled by the positive reviews on their website and made the mistake to trust them. Do not make the same mistake. They will try the impossible to make you spend more than you should!

Letting from abroad
We hired Victor Michael to manage our property and set up our rental agreements when we left the UK to move back home to France. They have shown real understanding of our situation, always been helpful, and available when we had questions about legal aspects as well as tax. They gave us invaluable expert advice and helped us make the right decisions. They are run like a local business and seem to have useful connections when it comes to getting works or repairs done in your property. I recommend them.
