Wish I had read reviews before ordering

I ordered a bracelet from this company as I have been buying from another for a few years but the red paint comes off quickly. I haven't had this one long enough to see what happens but I am really disappointed at the quality of the chain. It looks really cheap. I know it's not an expensive item but it is like something that you would get out of a Christmas cracker. Will not be purchasing from them again.

Poor customer service

I bought a bracelet May 5 in Ontario, received the bracelet May 30. The bracelet is just 1 link too tight although I ordered the size suggested. I cannot wear the bracelet. I called back to see if there was an option to get a link sent to me or have a new link put in. The option was to send me a new bracelet at a replenishment cost plus shipping costs, which would be almost as much as the original bracelet cost me. Terrible customer service as far as I am concerned. Will now look for another site to buy from.

Terrible Customer Service

Bought my husband a bracelet in January and he has had it for about a month and the clasp broke. I reached out to the company for help and they said that there was nothing they could do. I spent 80 on a bracelet and now it cant be worn. Shame on this company for the poor customer service they gave me. STAY AWAY!

If you have a Nickel allergy don’t buy…

If you have a Nickel allergy don’t buy these products. I bought the silver bracelet and had engraved Highly allergic to Nickel. Worn for one hour and had a severe reaction with blisters. Surely they would have contacted me to let me know that their product had nickel it. Very disappointed no one contacted me to let me know so I didn’t go ahead with the order. A waste of $185 for me.

Do not purchase from this company

Do not purchase from this companyOrdered and paid $62 almost 2 months ago. Contacted the company when the item hadn't arrived after a month. This was their response: Hello, Upon checking your order is included in the shipment that was mistakenly sent to UK. This is now in AUS and our fulfillment center is processing the package for delivery. You should receive the order anytime soon. We apologize for the delay this has caused. Best Regards, Jenilee Customer Service Another month later and still nothing. Wish I had checked this website before wasting my money. Plan on taking this up with the ombudsman.

Very poor quality

Purchased a metal medical id with a silicone bracelet in August. Husband started to wear in October. The clasp has now fallen apart and is deemed ‘out of warranty’. Do not buy, not worth the money (c£46!)

Great

Slow to arrive but arrive it did and I am pleased, my daughter has a wasp allergy and needs an epipen so this is a little extra peace of mind as I can identify those as well as my phone number should she be out when she’s stung.

Do not use this company!

So I ordered a bracelet for my daughter on 10/06/24 (Type 1diabetic), due to arrive 19th June. She’s quite a recently diagnosed and just been hospitalised with prolonged hypos. Very scary. No tracking number provided, but magically got one when I raised a concern through Paypal when it never arrived. Still not arrived. Tracking details are nonsensical. So annoyed. Really thought I’d researched but now feel scammed. Would strongly advise that no one touches this company with a barge pole. If I could do minus stars I would

The quality of engraving

I purchased a bracelet in June 2023 as a result of me being put on the lung transplant list. They wanted me to have it prior to surgery. So I ordered the bracelet from Universal Medical ID and kept it until after my surgery. So on November 29th 2023, I was released from hospital and started to wear my copper bracelet. I was home bound and not out and about to wear the bracelet. In June 2023, the bracelet face plate wording on it which is the most important information front and back was completely worn off. I contacted Universal Medical ID by email and got a response of we can give you the next one with 10% off. So I responded with "Oh is this a yearly purchase" and it wasn't cheap. I got no response in return. I am so disappointed in the quality of product and the customer service. Shame on you for even offering a 10% discount on my next one. So is that what you'd do yearly give me 10% off or just this time? Wow that's awesome of you. And it's for people that are like myself struggling to make ends meet but need this for my safety. Anyways I didn't purchase another one and I want people to know the experience I had to go through with Universal Medical ID. Not good and customer service you need to work on giving an actual service. Not just take money from people. Never again Universal Medical ID.

No replacement tags

I brought a Sterling Silver Classic Red Bracelet. I like it, the quality is there, but there is no option to purchase just a replacement tag. Another customer had the engraving wear off in one year. Most websites like this allow you to buy just the tag to update your information, not this one. It's frustrating, especially with a cost of living crisis.

US Company Selling in UK, Who Knew...

I bought a medical ID bracelet 9 months ago and the pin to fasten the clasp to has come out. The bracelet is now useless. I contact the company and they said I should have taken out the extended warranty. I really did not think that I would need extended warranty on such an item. Well apparently, I did as the company said that there was nothing I they could do, despite it not being fit for purpose. When I insisted on speaking to a supervisor, I was advised to contact the manufactures, an American company, who are responsible. On the UK website there is no indication that you are ordering goods from the US, or I never would have bought the bracelet in the first place. The UK supervisor gave me the email address of the US branch, and their response basically said you should have bought the extended warranty. There seems to be a theme here, anyway they also said tough but if I wanted to buy another one, they would give me a 10% discount. Well, I guess I could waste another £45.00 plus extended warranty, because I like to buy goods that are not fit for purpose. PS Universal Medical there was no accidental damage, as you indicate in your email response to me, it is just poor manufacturing on your part which would appear you know about as everyone I spoke to was pushing the fact that I should have bought the extended warranty.

Should have read the reviews

I was disappointed at the time taken to get the order to me. My biggest complaint, at the moment, is that the chain does not have a clasp to open it. It's a good job I ordered the length I did because it only just goes over my head. I definitely won't be using or recommending this company in the future.
