Water bill has gone up by £23 a month this year ! Pushing the total to £68 ! This is more than I am paying monthly on gas or electric currently . No compromise, pushing for water meter as only option... See more

Daylight robbery. My water bill has doubled in the last year and not using anymore water than normal. No warning either, just slammed with a massive bill!

Absolute joke that hold you to ransom Doubled their profit this last year, hike up their prices to pay all the fines they have. Taking everyone for mugs and there's nothing we can do about it as they are the supplier for the north West weather we like it or not

Spoke to an absolutely lovely young lady called Madison. She was an absolute credit to the company. Friendly, professional, helpful, compassionate and went the extra mile giving me other helpful information and support in my situation currently after moving. She made the whole experience so easy and pleasant and reassuring. I struggle with sorting stuff out and she made all the difference. If everyone was like Madison, I would find these things so much easier. Absolutey brilliant people skills with a fabulous attitude and so professional whilst being so approachable and friendly. 27% increase in water charges so I applied for a water meter in February. It was finally fitted on 6th May but the whole assembly was flooded so another attempt was made on 9th May. Since then, the WhatsApp response was “somebody will contact you by the end of this week. Latest next week” So far ……. nothing. A call to the Water Meter 0345 number last Friday took 17 minutes to be answered, all the while a message playing “We value your call. Please continue to hold”. The UU employee who finally answered promised to call me back. So far …….. nothing. My drive was dug up 14 days ago and I’m still waiting for it to be reinstated.
Constantly increasing bills yet not fixing the waste issue instead they rather fly tip the waste 👏 biggest scam on earth as well as electricity, all jokers and yet yous still pay for something that was inherited by our ancestors but now controlled by the elites so yous do as your told. Never paid and never will, rather see yous in court and slap a bag of do do on your face. Absolute jokers

Had a recent issue where I was overcharged on my new price in April, after the reassessment they have charged me again so that’s twice within 2 weeks. I spoke to an operator called Katie, if not then the name was Casey. She dealt with my issue very well and handled everything whilst explaining in order for me to understand. Thank you for your expertise and your help.
A fantastic effort by United Utilities Water to fix a mains water pipe burst in our village, Within one hour of me reporting the burst, there was an engineer at the site assessing the work required and within 4 hours of his visit there was a team of engineers digging up the road and by midnight the leak was fixed with minimum of fuss and inconvenience - we are all very pleased !! i must thank Emma of UU who kept me informed as the work progressed and thank you to all the UU team who worked till late at night to fix the burst, and within 24 hours the hole has been fillled and resurfaced and the white lines restored !! - Very Impressed !! Thank you all !!!
So they are sending emails to reserve water and despite customers in the north west facing a 34% increase yeas nearly £250 per household. For the past 15 years they earn approx profit reached £140.6m this ws 2024 but similar. However does one person need to earn over 2 million pounds per year... plus perks - Louise Beardmore, the CEO of United Utilities, earned a £1.4 million salary in 2023, including a £420,000 bonus, despite the company being England's most polluting water provider. The company has faced criticism for high pollution levels and sewage dumping. As we no choice we have to pay it and be defrauded. Millions of waste in lake Windermere and the ceo receives a bonus !!!!! wow. I would love to get a public response on here but i can guarantee i will not
