Abysmal customer service
27% increase in water charges so I applied for a water meter in February. It was finally fitted on 6th May but the whole assembly was flooded so another attempt was made on 9th May. Since then, the WhatsApp response was “somebody will contact you by the end of this week. Latest next week” So far ……. nothing. A call to the Water Meter 0345 number last Friday took 17 minutes to be answered, all the while a message playing “We value your call. Please continue to hold”. The UU employee who finally answered promised to call me back. So far …….. nothing. My drive was dug up 14 days ago and I’m still waiting for it to be reinstated.
