Titan Travel is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.

Our first Titan trip. The collection from home/return transport worked well, even though we didn't know the transport would be shared. This was not made clear on booking. The Hotel du Lac was clean and functional and not 4* in our opinion. The biggest let down was the food. We made it very clear on the booking, in the pre-trip WhatsApp group and on arrival that we are vegetarians. This appeared alien to the restaurant manager unfortunately. We ate out 3 nights as we couldn't face the pedestrian food. Italy is one of the best cuisines for non meat eaters but sadly Chef appeared to favour frozen veggie patties and tinned vegetables. Yuk. An oddity was having to order dinner at breakfast and always sit in the same place. Never experienced that before anywhere in the world. The Titan tour guide was very scatty and disorganised. She often changed group instructions/meet up points which confused people. Sadly I don't think she had ever been to the region before. She didn't know a great deal and whilst she was Italian, her command of English did not meet our expectations. On arrival at the airport, rather than a general welcome to the region and introduction to the tour, she spent the time reading from a folder telling us how much it costs to buy water at the hotel and on the bus. Each evening she would send a long cut and paste information message on WhatsApp giving details about the next day's trip. It would've been far better to have a knowledgeable guide who knows the area and who can speak about this face-to-face. Not impressed to be honest. On the day trip to Venice, she said on the bus 'well you will all know more about the place than me'?! That just about sums up the trip. She was however, kind and supportive to the elderly single passengers and provided chummy companionship. We weren't looking for that, we expected a first class Tour Manager who added value beyond the basics. We have just booked another trip later this year, a long haul trip to Africa, and we decided against Titan sorry.
I have just spoken to a marvellous man named Chandan, regarding my booking. He was extremely helpful and patient with me and talked my through all the stages to book my seat. I am extremely grateful for his help and his gentle manner.
Lisa was very efficient at booking the holiday we wanted. She promised to ring back with details and she did.

It would be better to ask me these questions after my holiday!!!
Excellent trip, well organised and a really good crew. the tour manager, Bobi, was the best we have met on various trips.
The booking person was well informed and sensitive to my requirements. She was easily able to access my personal data, previously provided for earlier Saga/Titan holidays. Each step in the booking process was explained and I felt confident that this information was accurate. Documentation was delivered into my inbox immediately after ending the call. Overall the booking experience and documentation was thorough and detailed. I can rest easy in the knowledge that everything to date has been taken care of. Well done Titan!
Well your tour guide Geoff Huggins is such a good tour guide it makes me want to go on any tour he is doing
We have travelled on Titan Tours a great many times and have really enjoyed them without exception. They handled the Covid Crisis very well and allowed us to move booking where necessary. We have recently booked through a Travel Agent which means we can get quotes for a variety of Holidays/ Departure Dates by email and book our choice by email return, we also get a small discount !
Excellent service again from Titan regarding bookings for 2024 holidays. Have holidayed with Titan for 10 years now, normally once, sometimes twice a year. Not yet been disappointed. With all the stress taken out by pick up and return home by their private taxi, coupled with guided tour holidays,we know we are in professional hands.
The recent tour to Sicily we went on had a fantastic Titan guide (Jill), who looked after everyone very well. It was ‘full on’, which was great for us (packing in all the highlights of the island in one go) but was hard going for some of the party and many suggested inserting a ‘rest day’ or two. Some hotels were of better quality than others - the Mercure in Palermo were poor on customer service (waiting 50 min for bags to be brought to the room then having to get them myself, without any apology) and the hotel in Agrigento was not 4 star standard to our minds. The Noto and Naxos hotels, however, were lovely (although different) and ticked all the boxes in their own way. Some of the sites visited were spectacularly memorable (Palatine Chapel, Monreale, Valley of the Temples) and others such as Noto and Ragusa were lovely in their own way and very worthwhile. Others were of less value and could have been cut or reduced (visiting the chocolate shop in Modica was of little value as was the cake shop in Erice), while it was a shame that a town such as Enna was missed out completely. Overall a thoroughly worthwhile trip with lots of highlights and a group that was a pleasure to be with.
We had a few ups and downs with Titan Travel when booking this holiday, although this is our 3rd trip with them. Our original dates were cancelled so we were offered refund or another holiday, so we booked this Cape Town holiday. We then had problems with internal flights to Heathrow so I was forced to take to Trust Pilot before it was resolved, not a great idea to have to complain in such a public forum, but it was the only way to get traction. The tour itself was full on, and the tour guide, Jill, was absolutely fantastic and very organised and knowledgeable about the tour. Nothing phased her. Indeed, she went above and beyond, especially making sure restaurants were prepared to deal with my gluten intolerance. Our driver, Nolan, was also brilliant but just a shame that his company reassigned him with only one day to go, which was bad form in my opinion. We had a small tour group (24) which was a perfect size, as we all got on well together, which was so important when there were so many meals together that were included on this trip. There was much hilarity and general banter. Most of the hotels were absolutely brilliant, but the one in Oudsthoorn (Queens Hotel) was shockingly bad. Fortunately it was only for one night. I could have cried when we got to our room and I just had to get out as (in my opinion) it was very grubby, with shelves at odd angles that were unusable, no toilet paper, the wardrobe was minging, windows didn’t open properly, stains on the ceiling, grubby carpet - do I need to go on, but ours was mild compared to a fellow traveller who had stains and black mould on the ceiling. However, the highlight of the trip was definitely the safari at Kariega Game Reserve. Max, our guide, went out of his way to ensure we got maximum benefit on the 4 game drives. It being May it was chilly, but we had gloves, scarves and hats, which were a godsend. Not all our fellow travellers found it easy to climb in and out of the safari vehicles so make sure you know what to expect. Brendan, the restaurant manager, was incredibly helpful with my gluten intolerance, even arranging for the chef to make gluten free bread and muffins. The holiday was full on, and there was quite a bit of time travelling on the coach, but this gave us time to relax and catch up with sleep after some early starts. I know we have probably heard all the stories of safety in South Africa, but I was not quite prepared for how bad. We were constantly told not to wear jewellery or carry bags and beggars were very aggressive. I never really felt safe out and about, except in Kariega Game Reserve and Franschoekk. Franschoekk was a beautiful little town and very safe. You have to ask If one town can get it so right, why can’t the rest of S Africa; it’s a basket case in my opinion and I won’t be back, but that’s not Titans fault.
