I am a landlord of a number of properties which are all currently managed by Shannon Upton. I cannot praise Shannon enough as she is always so reactive to my questions and the tenants needs and communicates rapidly and professionally with me. She has been very supportive to me personally and endlessly patient. I haven’t given the company a 5 star review as I’ve been disappointed with some of the more senior management in TG’s but would certainly give it to Shannon

I have been a client of Thornley Groves for nine years and in all that time I have been extremely impressed with the service they offered, especially with the services of Emma Slabbert who has been our Lettings Manager for the last few years. She has been extremely helpful and has kept us up to date on our property.

Thieves at Thornley Groves Chester
I don’t even think this company deserves one star. Very unprofessional, communication is poor and Kent Holman needs re training as he cannot do is job and try’s to talk over you on the phone until he realises he can’t and puts the phone down like a little dweeb that he is. Waited over two weeks to get our deposit back from leaving the property and then was told we have been given a £195 cleaning bill when inspection report says the flat was left in good condition overall. This estate agent and the landlord Karen Haynes are thieves. Use another estate agent not this one as you will be robbed of your money and left in the dark with no communication. And when you ask the manager to call you back Jenny Phoenix well I am still waiting on a call which says a lot.

Very poor letting agency
Very poor letting agency. Rented with them for many years, issues would be raised and never resolved including mould issues. Then on exiting the tenancy, almost in retaliation for leaving you are then punished with unavoidable ’cleaning fees’ for what was an already much cleaner than what we found it flat. Staff rudely just inform you to take it up with the deposit company who charge £60 for the privilege! Avoid at all costs

Even just one star is generous
Even just one star is generous. Rented a barely finished building. No professionalism whatsoever. Lies and misinformation is all we’ve received. If you’re looking for someplace to take a toll on your mental health, stay close to Thornley Groves..been an absolute inconvenience. WHAT A HORROR SHOW!

Maintenance Resolution - thank you, Maisie!
I have been with Thornley Groves just over five years and never experienced any major issues. I recently logged multiple maintenance requests for the apartment and they were dealt with extremely quickly and professionally by Maisie Widdas. She is also very friendly and approachable which goes a mile in these situations and building relationships between letting agents and the tenants. Thank you so much!

Amazing customer service from Karen
Had a really good viewing today at a property with Karen she really helped me and made me feel at ease with any questions and as a first time renter it was comforting to have someone who was happy to go through any query big or small, her customer service skills were absolutely amazing and made me feel really comfortable when viewing the property would highly recommend ☺️
