For the last ten yearsThornley Groves Manchester have been our property agents and we have had several individual property managers over that period.They have ranged from average to good but our present property manager Shannon Upton is outstanding. She responds to queries qickly and effectively.She is also pro active in dealing with the numerous problems that arise in a residential property business and is knowledgable in respect of the portfolio that.that we have. Property sale

I have just sold a property and have to say Thornley Groves in Monton have bern brilliant. Very responsive to messages. I would like to mention in particular Jonny Arrowsmith who has been superb to deal with. I would highly recommend his services for any property sales.

Unprofessional and incompetent

Thornley Groves has failed to maintain its standards as it has expanded it's business. We had a serious maintenance issue that was so badly handled, we felt we had to report them to the property ombudsman. We were forced out of the property, having been left with no faith in the lettings company and fearing reprisals for raising concerns over their professionalism. We were treated with contempt, lied to and made to feel completely powerless. The complaints process was a joke, this company lacks accountability and people should think twice before using their services.

Contractor

Having worked for Thornley Groves as a contractor, I always find them to be very professional and responsive. Fixlfo enables quick and easy communication between tenants, property managers and ourselves. We are often instructed by Emma Slabbert who is very professional and responsive. The whole Property Management team are considerate and quick to help to enable any necessary repairs to move forwards.

I showed interest in a rental property

I showed interest in a rental property. I emailed to support my interest and called to back that up. I also enquired as to the reply process as when I am working I am not allowed a phone on my person. I was assured that I would be contacted by email in my case. I hadn't received any such email and called only to be told there had been viewings the previous week and the property had gone. When I asked why I hadn't been contacted I was met with "I don't know. The property has gone". No apology, no explanation. In my mind a terrible service who doesn't even deserve one star .

What a waste of time forced out as home…

What a waste of time forced out as home owner wanted to sell to move abroad, Thornley Groves came in in jan24 to check everything ok but then less than 2 months later £2500 cleaning bill as we moved out into a home ? Agent did not respond to emails or calls Said I called her got boss to ring me , they are not selling house with all our adaptations we have done to it New kitchen, new upvc doors laminate flooring,car charger driveway and lots more and still want £2500 cleaning when we had to leave after a second 21 ( no. Fault eviction) COVID Oxygen in hall way started this whole thing off
