My claim was settled quickly and that's important when the vets bill is a large lump to pay. I had an email that confirmed receipt of documents and an update regarding the BACS payment. All stress free.
The initial claim process was pretty easy as our vets were able to send the claim directly to Emporium with our pets medical history. Unfortunately we were contacted by Emporium several days later to say they needed 3 years of vet history our claim. This is something that was not made clear when taking out the policy. As we had only had the cat just over 1 year this was not possible. I explained this in writing as advised by Emporiums customer adviser. Happily they accepted this and eventually settled our claim inline with the terms and conditions we were initially aware of when taking out the policy. Although the requirement of having 3 years veterinary history was initiallya shock, their customer care department seemed to be very understanding and helpful.
Claim process was straight forward,Emporium staff were helpful and friendly and claim was paid relatively quickly.
Easy to request a claim form, I rang and it was sent immediately but you can download one from the portal. A decision was made fairly quickly. The claim was accepted and payment made the quickly.
I have been with Insurance Emporium for many years with three cats and two dogs over the time being with them. Sadly I have had to claim, which no pet owner wants to do, but each time the claims have been settled with very little interaction needed. Not the cheapest but in my opinion one of the better companies!
This company is unscrupulous, I paid £44 a month for my little dog , I paid this for years. Wh n he passed and I had in excess of £1590 vets bills this excuse of a company paid me..... £6. I complained and they had missed a £318 invoice .. so they settled £76 of that ! If I can give anyone any advise it's do not waste your money .. this company should be reported for financial misconduct.

Been with Insurance Emporium for 5 years with numerous policies (currently 4) and fortunately have never had to claim... until now. Have had no end of hassle trying to get email confirmation that they have received all the paperwork required to process my claim. Eventually phoned to be told they received all necessary paperwork last Tuesday and would take 7 to 10 days to review my claim! When pressing for an answer whether they would likely get back to me this week, they would not confirm and fobbed me off with an excuse that they were extremely busy with claims at the moment and were dealing with them in receipt of datal order. I am extremely disappointed so far with the claims service, far too slow, in this day and age it is unacceptable to not be automatically kept informed of where a claim is in the process. They are quick to send an email letter to let you know that the condition will no longer be covered from next renewal though- this is sent automatically im told. Surprise surprise. They appear to have updated their customer area on their website, it just looks pretty but has no use at all to customers. If they truly did update their website to be more customer friendly then they would free up back office to process claims much quicker instead of leaving customers, and loyal, long standing ones at that to hang, waiting for days on end during what is already a very stressful time to find out what (if anything) will be covered.

Had to claim for my cat Milo after he had wound repair surgery. Making the claim was simple, insurance emporium kept me updated of progress and within a few weeks I had the majority of the vet bill back in my bank. Thank you insurance emporium.
