Initial claim process was pretty easy but it had a slight sting in the tail...
The initial claim process was pretty easy as our vets were able to send the claim directly to Emporium with our pets medical history. Unfortunately we were contacted by Emporium several days later to say they needed 3 years of vet history our claim. This is something that was not made clear when taking out the policy. As we had only had the cat just over 1 year this was not possible. I explained this in writing as advised by Emporiums customer adviser. Happily they accepted this and eventually settled our claim inline with the terms and conditions we were initially aware of when taking out the policy. Although the requirement of having 3 years veterinary history was initiallya shock, their customer care department seemed to be very understanding and helpful.
