This company is shocking

This company is shocking 2 months, no installation, no sorry or anything . In May they said they would connect the first part then a week later they would need someone to be at home for the final install. I booked time off work then they cancelled said no line in sight, I had to contact them to find out what was happening. They said it wasn’t them who fit it but would get back to me. Eventually they said they would send a supervisor out to assess the problem, never heard anymore, I contacted squirrel once again they said the same again and they would find out from ms3 the cable company. Weeks after, many emails later they told us to chat to our neighbours to see if they could span a cable across their yards, so I went round to see them. All said not a problem. I contacted squirrel to let them know, weeks later they gave me another date for installation, once again they never turned up. I contacted squirrel again who didn’t believe me , they then told me to be at home for the final fit. (which I booked time off work) but they never turned up at all . Got no response from squirrel again, we are now mid July so I cancelled it. Had no sorry or anything, they are a joke!!

Very quick installation

So far so good, we had broadband installed 2 weeks ago , the instalation was very quick, the router arrived the day after and was very easy to set up , although we haven't been able to use it thoroughly as we haven't moved in yet , the service seem ok so far .

Very smooth process and fast speeds.

Very good communication, throughout. Punctual and smooth installation. Router arrived within a day of completing. Download/upload speeds are very good. And the price is great!

I had no need to worry!!

It started from the Installation, the man was friendly, professional and ready to go, he immediately noticed where the set up was going to be was not ideal, in one call another team arrived, moved the initial wire to where he believed we would get optimal service, then no mess, no fuss installation, router arrived next day, simple clear precise set up to follow. My download speed is over three times faster, my upload speed is well over 300 times faster, as an online gamer I am very happy with that and the best part of all, i'm saving money each month, extremely happy, I was nervous to change from a service I had used for 20 years but there was no need to worry, so quick, so easy, so smooth, I could not have asked for more.

Poor communication.

Not happy at all, booked in my installation for 23rd April. Then get a text message on 15th April to say an Engineer has been to compete a span to the property but was unable to gain access as the alleyway gate was locked. Nobody informed me that anybody was coming I had no idea. But this wasn't a big issue as it said they would be back on 17th so please can I ensure the gate is left unlocked. Well I cannot just leave it unlocked all day as it is a security issue for all the houses that it leads to so I made sure I was in all day so that I could unlock it when they came. Then at 4:45 pm on the 17th I got another text message saying my order had been put on hold and my installation date canceled as the engineer could not gain access again. I waited in all day and nobody knocked on my door, if they had I would've unlocked the date for them. So I rang them and arranged the span for the 22nd of April but then got a text saying it had been arranged for the 29th of April so I thought oh they've just put the wrong Tuesday down by mistake so I rang them, but was told no sorry the next available date for the span was actually the 29th April and then the installation date for the 1st May. I got the impression too that they blamed me for this, even though it was their fault, and that they were putting it back on purpose as I don't see how they had no more spaces to do the span whatsoever for 12 days when the first time they were back only 2 days later. So anyway this would mean being without Internet for a few days as I had already given the notice to cancel my Sky internet so after thinking it over for a few days, I cancelled the whole lot. Really annoyed as it's their fault that the engineer couldn't be bothered to knock on my door, yet because of that the time got put way back so I'm very frustrated with Squirrel and would not recommend.

Installation went without a hitch

Installation went without a hitch, engineer turned up on time, he was polite and professional. The service is slower than my old provider but I accept that and it is what I chose so fine. I like the service as it gives me unlimited access which is what I wanted and it works fine for internet browsing and streaming TV, and only Β£25 a month. Very happy so far, would recommend.

my new Internet package

I ordered my Internet package from Internet, within a week l got my connection. Its working perfect, my package speed 900mbs, its doing 400mbs with my mobile WiFi connection, no interruption so far. Its higherly recommended.
