I paid for next day delivery as we needed shoes quickly for a school event. The courier couldn't deliver and has now said two days from now which is useless. One day would be alright but for no reason two days later is the reason amazon is doing so well. I now find that there is no customer service. Just somewhere to put questions and get generic answers.
This is why one company has taken over the online shopping and I should have gone with the herd.
The golf clubs ordered. Confirmation follows with expected delivery date 9th July. Approximately one week.
I received an email three days after my order, confirming the clubs will be delivered four days earlier than expected. Absolutely delighted. Excellent customer service.
I have bought a few items from Sports Direct and the whole process is so easy and efficient from the app itself to delivery. Always easy to find what I need on the app and it's delivered to me by Evri within 2 days. Great value too. Very happy customer!,

I ordered a football for my grandson for his birthday, paid for standard delivery only to find Sports Direct had “lost” it in their warehouse. Customer service person named Eliza said they can’t compensate by sending another by next day only standard delivery. Thank you useless Sports Direct for spoiling my Grandsons birthday, I will never be using your company again. It’s no wonder companies like Temu and Shein do better than British companies when customer service doesn’t count at all.
Turns out SportsDirect use Evri to deliver only Evri constantly fails to deliver in my area... parcels are 'lost' and it takes weeks for refunds etc...
When you try to report this to SportsDirect the auto chat bot refuses to let you speak to a human.
Result, I will never buy from SportsDirect again. Useless.
