I booked this overnight spa break for my sisters 50th. We stayed at Frimley Hall in Surrey. All staff were really helpful and our stay was very relaxing. Food and treatments were lovely. Only two small things I would change is on day of arrival you cannot check in until 3pm and they told us our meal was at 6pm, which really did not give us long enough to settle in and enjoy the spa facilities to its full, it all seemed a bit of a rush. We did ask to change our meal time but the latest they could do was either 6.30pm or 9pm. Checkout was at 11am but our treatments weren't until 12 and 12.30. We did ask about changing our times but they said they couldn't. I do think for guests just staying one night the timings of the meal and treatments should be more flexible. I would book again but I would call the hotel directly to arrange these two ahead of arriving.
We had the most lovely day , the reception staff were fantastic and were so welcoming . The treatment was gorgeous and Leo who served us afternoon tea went above and beyond what we expected , an altogether fabulous day , highly recommended.
The hotel was excellent with friendly and professional staff. The facilities were excellent with a good sized pool. Booking was so easy and efficient. I would recommend Spabreaks and the Forest Hill’s Hotel to anyone.

I was extremely disappointed with the service I received from SpaBreaks. After being advised by my doctor not to travel, I contacted them to request a simple date change. Darcie informed me that the hotel “would not allow” any amendments and that nothing could be done due to their terms and conditions. This turned out to be completely untrue. I contacted the hotel directly, and they confirmed they would be happy to change the date. The issue wasn’t the hotel at all—it was SpaBreaks refusing to action it. Despite having a valid medical reason and clear confirmation from the hotel, SpaBreaks still refused to help. Their lack of transparency, unwillingness to assist, and contradictory information made the whole situation far more stressful than it needed to be. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when booking through SpaBreaks. If anything unexpected happens, even with medical evidence, they appear unwilling to support their customers.
Shocking! Gifted a spa voucher for £300, package chosen for me wasn’t available, was told to book elsewhere, chose package and date at another venue, but wasn’t available, so booked a 3rd package- then get an email 4 days before booking that venue had relocated and the package I had booked was not available. I have asked spabreaks for a full refund by telephone and they are refusing although they have failed 3x to provide a service, I have now emailed them reminding them of consumer rights act however still awaiting response 24hrs later! I will be forced to do a chargeback I think and I will make sure everyone is aware of the above when booking their vouchers. I do not want a credit note I have been let down by you 3x whereby you have been unable to fulfil the booking. I want a refund and under the consumer Act 2015 whether your t&c”s show that a voucher is non refundable, you have failed the customer in my case, therefore should honour a refund for the trouble and inconvenience caused. I will never use spa breaks again!!!! PLEASE REFUND - everyone stay away. Please note- a short distance is along distance for someone whom is disabled, please be mindful spabreaks!!!!!

Sunday was the day I was arranging it all and we both had things to do with our little ones, instead of saying I will get back to you Monday we both give our free times from taking the kids out and she called me back with inthe times you cant ask for better than that
Unacceptable service from Spabreaks. We booked spa treatments for 18/1 at Revive at DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham – Cotswolds. I confirmed twice, both on the website and via email, that our treatments should be at 12:30 pm so it would be after our hotel checkout. I was also told twice that the spa would contact me to confirm arrival time, but I never received any call or message. When we arrived at the spa around 12:00 pm, we were told they had been expecting us at 11:15 am — a time we were never told about. Because of this, they initially said we had missed our appointment and couldn’t be treated. After about 20 minutes, the staff very kindly managed to fit us in, but at different times, meaning we couldn’t enjoy the pool and sauna together and had to reschedule our afternoon tea. They even gave up their own breaks to help us, which shows the issue was not with the spa staff but with Spabreaks’ communication. This was meant to be my birthday celebration with my friends, and instead of relaxing together, we spent the day stressed, separated, and constantly changing plans due to mistakes that were not ours. Poor communication, no confirmation of correct times, and a ruined experience.
I'd put off and put off using my spa voucher, I'm on my own with specific dietary requirements and hadn't been looking forward to the experience. A local hotel offers exquisite treatments and I called to see if I was able to book one using my voucher. Sophie Bonwick contacted the hotel on my behalf and my treatment was booked. So looking forward to it. Sophie, you turned a dreaded experience into something I'm looking forward to, many thanks.

1 night stay at macdonal spa hotel Cheshire, in the upgraded deluxe king room was a comfortable sleep, the room was clean but very dated with furniture needing an upholstery makeover or replacing, there was mould on the windowsills and bathroom shower, broken tiles and needing tlc, the staff were lovely, the facilities needed a revamp and it was to a below standard in comparison to the many other spa hotels we have stayed in. The breakfast was lovely with a surplus charge for some hot breakfasts which were reasonably priced, the evening meal was tasteless but hey, I only had one meal, I may of been unlucky, my partners meal was average. I was not impressed. I had a firm deep tissue massage which was one of the best I’ve had in a long time, that was excellent and professional, can’t fault the staff they were all professional and helpful, no complaints made as I’m sure the staff have heard it all before, unfortunately we won’t be staying again down to the mould and cracked tiles, and the shower head cracking and falling off when taking a shower. I don’t usually leave a review but this really should be rated a 3 star, a little disappointing.
Visited the parsonage hotel and spa at York and the spa facilities were quite good . Def need more beds as not enough. Reception needs to remember to tell day guest where to go for the spa facilities. Food was good. Massage was lovely. Bring a £1 for lockers and own towels although a towel is provided
