I was left stunned and saddened at the lack of basic compassion and professionalism at this firm. I had the misfortune of having to engage in conversation with someone call keran following an injury enquiry I made. After he got all my personal details that took forever he cut our conversation put me on mute but I could hear him and asked another work colleague to call me after an hour asking for the same details. I told her I already spoke to someone who had all my details and that I was busy arranging a funeral which was already mentioned in previous conversation relating to my injury. She laughed as she said how sorry she was. I called to tell them to cancel the enquiry I'd prefer a firm who didn't laugh at the misery of others.

Overall, the process was good it was slow to progress but majority of the time it can be out of the control of Slater and Gordan as there are delays with medical experts. Hannah Gibson was very informative and quick to progress the claim throughout the process when it was within her control and although she is a Paralegal and not a senior solicitor, I believe she did the necessary requirements for this case and to reach a settlement before court proceedings. However, whether I received maximum compensation and could have received more is unknown so would not like to comment on this, but I was in the process of switching solicitors as reading case study's of similar claims settling for more. However, after talking to a senior solicitor outside of Slater and Gordan he did advise some of the case study settlements shown are not an accurate reflection as many factors contribute to this for example loss of Salary, Age, Profession etc. Overall, I am satisfied as I may I have received more compensation if this case carried on but the risks of not settling early may have outweighed, as know I can concentrate and focus on my future going forward.

Sally was absolutely brilliant, she gave me regular updates for my case and answered any questions about forms or information I needed to provide. Honestly Slater and Gordon have been both professional and kind during what has been a long and difficult time for me. I needed independent legal advice in respect of a Voluntary Severance Agreement with my employer. I contacted the firm and received a prompt response with Olivia Ellory, a paralegal, dealt with me initially. She was professional and patient. The solicitor to whom I was assigned was Ali Sultan. He also made early contact with me. He was personable and professional. Crucially, identified issues that needed to be addressed and was successful in ensuring that an amended and improved Agreement was achieved. In summary, Mr Sultan gave good advice and protected my interests. I would like to thank Olivia and Ali for their professionalism.
