I never had much faith in estate agents.... then I met Wes Collins and he changed all that. From the moment I contacted him about a property he was selling, right through to him selling our own home, his expertise, support and dedication was superb. There was no overselling or ego boosting, just well researched information and years of experience.

After several bad experiences with estate agents in the past, both buying and selling properties, Wes and Sell My Home made the purchase of a property much easier than I thought possible.
My previous experience has always been that estate agents tell you what you want to hear or are even outright dishonest (to the point of telling us that the conveyancers were wrong and they were right), as all they care about is getting the sale to go through and doing as little as possible.
Wes, on the other hand, was very communicative, very helpful, and completely upfront about everything.
His knowledge and expertise, as well as his close communication with other parties such as the sellerβs solicitor and my own, helped ensure a quick and easy purchase, and resolutions to a couple of issues picked up in the survey.
After moving in, Wes has still remained very helpful in providing numbers for recommended tradesmen and professionals, communication with the seller when information was needed etc.

I had a really good experience with Sell My Home. The photos were excellent and the on line booking system was efficient and easy to use. Once I accepted an offer my personal contact at Sell My Home liaised between myself and my buyer to make sure everything went smoothly.
Easily a Five Start experience at each point of the process. Reassuring to have a consistent point of contact (Laura) who was friendly and responsive throughout - we felt well looked after. Not sure I would recommend the additional completion service - hard to say whether or not we got to completion any quicker than we would have without it...
I had a fantastic experience with SellMyHome. I used them to sell a one bed flat in London (chain-free). From the word go SellMyHome were very efficient and professional. Communication was brilliant and I was kept updated on developments throughout the sale. While I did the viewings myself, SellMyHome organised the photos (which were great) provided tips and followed up after each viewing with the potential buyer to get their feedback. I paid the extra Β£200 for completion services and I'm very glad I did - it meant SellMyHome did all of the chasing with the buyers' solicitors and dealt with a number of issues that arose in a very efficient manner. I couldn't have asked for more and would recommend to anyone. I dealt with Laura Anderson mostly, who was brilliant, but all of the staff I spoke to were very helpful. Save your money and go with SellMyHome! I will definitely be using them again in future.
Sellmyhome.co.uk were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They made selling a property so much more of a pleasant experience, and at 10% of the price of high street agents. We had lots of viewings, and ended up getting an offer for the asking price quickly. Anna was fantastic throughout, and made the difficult process as easy at could be. I thoroughly recommend them.
I recently purchased a house that SellMyHome promoted. From a buyerβs perspective, I had excellent service. Robbie was my point of contact and always responded promptly to emails and telephone calls, and was generally helpful with the various issues that arose.
I would also like to recommend the 3D virtual tour to potential sellers. When I originally saw the house on Rightmove I was not that interested as it was not in an area that I was interested in. However, I took the virtual tour which sold the property. The house had unusual features and a lovely garden which were not immediately obvious from the photos. This tempted me to view a house that I would not otherwise have considered.
Excellent service, always at the end of the phone. Even when our dedicated account manager was off another picked up all details and ensured we were being looked after. Would highly recommend this professional team.
Its always a bit of a gamble paying β upfrontβ for a β serviceβ, but without doubt the helpfulness and great service from every one in the team was exceptional. Customer service is down to the little things, calling back when agreed, feedback from viewings and the touching base call, all of which were provided . The weekly marketing reports and calls were great, enabling me to adjust the price as necessary to ensure maximum expose on the web portals.
As a property developer I would have no hesitation in recommending your services and when my next property is ready , I will be calling you straight away.

Initial Communication was good... but out of hours its bit difficult to get answers ...
I would like to say that the initial sales and acceptance there was all inclusive and then there comes new services with different price tags.. Also 3 different persons dealt with my property in past year ...
After sales progression is delayed as its overshadows all the good work done initially has been done with by poor responses at the end...

I have always used High Street estate agents in the past, and have bought and sold many times in the last forty years. When it came to my recent move, my Son was very keen that I should "move with the times" and use an online agent. However, I was very apprehensive about it and did not know anyone who had sold through an online agent. I went into all my local traditional estate agents to see what they would offer in terms of fees and services. I felt comfortable doing my own viewings, knew what my property was worth, and only really needed them to take the photographs and put my property online on, for example, Zoopla and Rightmove. The agents told me "horror stories" about using online agents - particularly emphasising a lack of follow through (or progress chasing) once a sale had been agreed - and they were not willing to negotiate on selling fees in any way. After reading as many online reviews as I could, I finally took the plunge and called SellMyHome, as they had 5 stars and great reviews. I spoke to Tom and he ran through my three options - Pay in advance, pay in advance with a small additional amount to cover a kind of insurance so my fee would be refunded under certain circumstances, or pay a higher amount once any sale had been completed. I opted for the middle option to give me that little bit of extra reassurance. Within a few days, the lovely Abigail came with her amazing equipment and took lots of photographs, and then did a 360 degree recording of every area of my home to produce a virtual tour - I had never seen one of these before and it was quite remarkable to see the results online. I wrote the "blurb" myself, which makes sense as I know my home and the area, but I also had the services of Anna who was my designated project manager, and she read through what I had written and added her own touches. I was very pleased with what we produced together. From speaking with Tom to going live on Rightmove, etc, took five days. I had two viewings and two offers, and completed the sale in less than a month. Anna put myself and my Buyer in touch, and all three of us spoke regularly throughout the sale process to ensure we were all on the same page at all times - this was especially useful when dealing with solicitors, who could appear to be blaming the other side for any delays, as we all knew exactly what was going on. On the odd occasion when Anna was unavailable, everyone else I spoke to knew exactly who I was and what was happening. Unfortunately, I was gazumped on the first two properties I was trying to purchase (both through traditional agents!), but I was so grateful for the ongoing support from Anna throughout the ups and downs - she was very good at calming me down when I called her in tears twice in two weeks. I will definitely be using SellMyHome again. I loved having more control of the process and knowing exactly what was happening at every stage. Saving more than Β£2,500 was really just the cherry on top of a perfect experience!
