I never had much faith in estate agents.... then I met Wes Collins and he changed all that. From the moment I contacted him about a property he was selling, right through to him selling our own home, his expertise, support and dedication was superb. There was no overselling or ego boosting, just well researched information and years of experience.

After several bad experiences with estate agents in the past, both buying and selling properties, Wes and Sell My Home made the purchase of a property much easier than I thought possible.
My previous experience has always been that estate agents tell you what you want to hear or are even outright dishonest (to the point of telling us that the conveyancers were wrong and they were right), as all they care about is getting the sale to go through and doing as little as possible.
Wes, on the other hand, was very communicative, very helpful, and completely upfront about everything.
His knowledge and expertise, as well as his close communication with other parties such as the seller’s solicitor and my own, helped ensure a quick and easy purchase, and resolutions to a couple of issues picked up in the survey.
After moving in, Wes has still remained very helpful in providing numbers for recommended tradesmen and professionals, communication with the seller when information was needed etc.
Wes is not only a true professional but a genuinely nice guy who is clearly passionate about his job and ensuring his clients are happy.

I was initially cautious about using Sell My Home as I’d never heard of them before, but I can say the customer service and whole process from end to end has been fantastic. We were handled by the Head of Operations who called us every step of the way and really provided that personal service that is needed with a house move. SellMyHome were fantastic agents when it came to selling our flat. I was really impressed from the moment we signed up with them and knew we'd made the right decision. We had put our flat on the market with a high street agent and had been unsuccessful and wanted an agent that we could trust and that would give us a good service (which SellMyHome gave us). We felt it was valuable to get the help and support when it came to negotiating the offer and also to complete the sale. Robbie was absolutely fantastic and kept us in the loop at all times. He chased our buyers and dealt with lots of prickly situations along the way with professionalism and integrity. I wasn’t sure whether using an online agency would work for a grade 2 listed semi rural cottage - thought they were more for London flats. However, after doing some research we decided to try sellmyhome, and have been really impressed. A larger online agency came round to value the house, but I didn’t get the impression of personal attention from them that I was looking for. From the first, Robbie, Gina and Anna were fantastic. Their friendly professionalism impressed not just me but also the people who came to view, several of whom mentioned how pleasant and efficient they were. Great portal, very smooth organisation of viewings and feedback, great communication; we sold quickly and at the value sellmyhome placed on the property, actually above the asking price.
Selling your house via an online agency does require you to put the effort in, but you are very well supported and guided by the experts at sellmyhome. We paid for the completion pack too, and are happy we did so as it meant there was someone keeping on top of all the moving parts to maintain the momentum. Overall- no hesitation in recommending them, they really are a cut above the competition both on and offline.
They were very efficient in getting potential buyers through the door. Fees were low compared to high street agents. Would definitely use them again if I have to, and recommend them to everyone who needs to sell their homes
I had two plots of land to sell and decided to put them on the market with a traditional commission-based estate agent. We had a couple of viewings over a period of three months but no proper interest. I then found SellMyHome.co.uk by performing a search for alternative companies to help me to sell. I dealt with Tom Hardcastle who was fabulous and the whole process was completely seamless - our internet marketing was up and running the same day and looked great. We had a viewing booked within two days and both plots were under offer by the end of that first week. We have now completed on our sale - well done SellMyHome and NO commission, just a flat fee!!!!!!
We used sellmyhome to sell our London 3 bed house and would certainly recommend. They gave sound advice from the start and fab photos which helped us get above asking price. The website was pretty straight forward to use to book appointments (I’d give 5+*s with just a few tweaks to the site but it’s definitely functional) But the particularly impressive service was Laura’s management of the completion of the sale. Unlike a high st estate agent, I could get hold of her whenever needed and she kept us, buyers and solicitors updated very regularly. And above all, a joy to work with.
