Scap Car Comparison provided the best offer having contacted a few companies directly for quotes - a non-running Volvo XC60. Communication was very good at every stage (Email/Text/Phone) and I was paid on the day of collection as promised - I will admit I had my fingers crossed having never used/heard of them before but comforted by the large number of very positive Trustpilot reviews. Would definitely use again (hopefully won't need to) and recommend.

So here is the scam, you get the best quote and then the company JH Metals Ltd arrive and then start deducting from their quote based on the fact that you put Alloy wheels which you didn't because they aren't, and then suddenly the actual money you get paid is less than the next quote down. And then you think maybe it is not a comparison site so much as finding the closest shyster to you.
CAR SEAT IBIZA REG LV11 YOT INITIALLY had a bad experience with the driver who came to collect the car.. Was very rude.. iLL-MANNERED and LIAR who didn't collect the car for his personal issues! (COMPANY SHOULD KNOW WHO THAT DRIVER WAS i have mentioned the car reg number! Wasted my day waiting for them to collect the car and was extremely annoyed.. Companies (scrapcarcomparison) and BMS SALVAGE both apologised for his bad behaviour and re arranged the collection Got collected today (Thursday 11th of April) and tell you what the driver was an absolute star !! (you should know who the driver was i dont know his name) Small little things make such a huge difference and that guy was absolutely pleasure to deal with !! I wanted to leave the negative feedback because of first experience but because of the driver who collected the car today i have left a positive feedback!! So yeah finally job done and again the driver who collected my car was an absolute Star .. A good customer service is so important that driver literally changed the whole experience!!
A fairly simple process. I gained a quote online and had a call to verify the offer. An email was sent with simple instructions and the car was collected in 72hours. As my car was electric and had a fault which couldn’t realistically be repaired at a sensible cost - some salvage companies would not collect the car as due to issues disposing the cars electric battery in an environmentally friendly manner. There was no issue with this business. So if you are/were an EV car owner consider this company.
