Scap Car Comparison provided the best offer having contacted a few companies directly for quotes - a non-running Volvo XC60. Communication was very good at every stage (Email/Text/Phone) and I was paid on the day of collection as promised - I will admit I had my fingers crossed having never used/heard of them before but comforted by the large number of very positive Trustpilot reviews. Would definitely use again (hopefully won't need to) and recommend.

The company was honest and efficient. What they quoted me was the same received. I followed all their instructions and everything went according as discussed. I would recommend using this company to sell your vehicle.
My husband was given a guaranteed price, all agreed the car was being collected dismantled, the collecting company advised they didnt need to take some of the failed engine that didnt fit in the boot and this company then paid £1300 less than agreed, after a conversation they still cut the originally agreed price by £400 despite agreeing with them that the engine was failed and in pieces and their collection company told the garage they didnt need to take all the failed parts. Be careful, get it in writing as their word means nothing.
The dealer they use never contacted me within the 24 hours , as per an e mail sent to me . Sent e mail Cancelling contract and no reply .
Good communication. Not the highest price but not far off and highly professional. The only company that actually showed up as arranged, and called when they said they would. Polite prompt telephone communication al the way. A very courteous and helpful recovery driver collected the car and knew the whole procedure. I really can't fault them. It would appear that here are not many professionals in the scrap business, I spoke to some real chancers and cowboys - these guys are the exception. Don't waste your time with the others - I recommend this company for service, efficiency and integrity.

They did exactly what they said they would do. Paid me when they said they would pay me and collected the at the exact time they told me they would. Over all a good experience.
Was nervous of online valuation being achieved and wee bit confused about different people collecting car locally but everyone helpful and pleasant to deal with - and farewell to beloved 14yr old sports car made easier by money arriving as promised in bank account 👍
