A great holiday company.
All inclusive holiday very good. No hidden costs. The variety of tours was excellent and the quality too of a high standard. We have no hesitation in recommending Scenic.
We found the cruise disappointing and misleading
We found the cruise disappointing. The staff were all lovely, polite and helpful, the room was kept clean and tidy and it was well organized. The food was good. The guides were all excellent. However pictures in the brochure were misleading. We only "cruised" for one afternoon where we could see the scenery we mostly travelled at night. Our cabin was also above the engine room and the bed actually shook at night. We thought we were booking an up market luxury cruise but it honestly felt more like a holiday camp. The photo in the brochure shows a couple at a table with space all around being served by a waiter. We were all crammed into the dining area with so little space you could hardly walk between the tables.

Scenic Eclipse is fabulous
Our Spa Suite was so spacious and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable and adjustable. It was great to have a separate toilet and shower room with a spa bath. There was a spacious walk in wardrobe and shoe storage and plenty of storage space. The Espa toiletries were lovely too. And our balcony was spacious with plenty of seating. There was a coffee machine and fridge for drinks etc. We could have our laundry done and clothes pressed.The food was excellent with plenty of choice even for me ( I have to have gluten free food) and my diet was well catered for. The staff were wonderful especially our butler. And there was a good choice of trips to go on every day enabling you to choose what suited you. Our only gripe was that we couldn’t get direct flights and had to split our flights both ways which isn’t ideal in your late seventies. We did the helicopter flight from the ship over Pompei which was brilliant, made great fun by our pilot! All in all a wonderful trip!!

It was an absolutely superb holiday
It was an absolutely superb holiday. This was a replacement of our holiday last year that was cancelled because I fell in my garden and broke my right clavicle. The other company would not refund any money nor allow me to change the dates. As we had travelled with Scenic before we decided to do another river cruise which was wonderful and the weather was fantastic. The crew could not be more friendly and attentive.

Lovely clean ship
Lovely clean ship. Everything was organised and professional. Superb food . enrich programme and a variety of entertainment. Nice relaxed atmosphere on board. All the staff were friendly and very polite.

Meeting interesting local guides and hosts enhances your holiday.
Interesting tours in Bratislava (Communist history), Budapest (Jewish history), Croatia (Lunch hosts with interesting personal stories to tell about the Balkan conflict), Bulgaria (city tour with excellent local female guide who had led student protests and the Young Mothers' protest against the pollution coming across from the Romanian dirty industries). Excellent accommodation and food on board Scenic Opal.

Great cruise on the Jem
Great cruise on the Jem with so many options to visit. Great guides without being to boring. Food and drink options excellent and as always great crew so friendly and helpful. If any down side the shower is rather small but everything else spot on.
