I have travelled with RSD a few times and have never had a bad experience. An excellent way of seeing a country at an affordable price.
Went to Sri Lanka with RSD - fantastic countryside, amazing friendly people, good hotels and an amazing journey around the country in all its guises - one of the best trips of my life (I travel 10 mths a year) - why so good - people, no hassles of any kind going out, low cost economy, wonderful weather - an absolute gem of a holiday full of variety with something for everyone.
We had a wonderful holiday seeing so many UNESCO sites in Kosova, North Macedonia, Montenegro & Albania. Except for the last one, which was a little bit "Soviet era", the hotels were lovely with excellent food, very comfortable indeed. Our Turkish guide Gdoikca went above & beyond to help all passengers on her coach, even rescuing a hearing aid, which had fallen out in Cafe Mozart in Budva, Montenegro & organising for someone to drive it to our hotel at least 2 hours away so we had it before the coach left next morning.

Just returned today from the Balkans Tour. It was our fourth tour with RSD (Previously: Croatia, Cappadocia and Rhodes & Turkey) They have all been interesting experiences and excellent value for money. Nearly all the hotels have been a very good standard, with the odd rogue exception but bear in mind that you are often staying in non-tourist areas and it's a credit to RSD that they can source the accommodation for so many people in out of the way places. ( You will read adverse reviews from some people, there was the odd few on our tours complaining, but keep in perspective what you paid and you can't expect to stay at 5 star hotels) We've recommended RSD to friends and we've booked for Sri Lanka next year.

The RSD Indian tour was a wonderful window into this colourful fascinating country, the hotels could be quirky some modern some more βbest exotic marigold hotelβ. Alok our guide was fantastic, on the long coach transfers he would entertain us with interesting facts about the places were were to visit, and generally about India, he would also arrange interesting stops to break up the coach trip eg the motorbike temple and the cow hospital. Alok smoothed our journey with advice on tipping, arranging luggage transfers, and a birthday cake for me. If you have the Alok as a guide for your trip to India - lucky you! He will ensure you have a great experience.

Recently returned from the Rhodes and Turkey trip. This was our third RSD tour and they have all been really interesting experiences. Well organised with good standard of hotels. (Taking into account that you are not generally stopping in major tourist areas with well known hotel chains) Our full week in Rhodes was at the 4 star Rodos Palace in a swanky seaview room. We've recommended RSD to friends and are booked for more tours in the future

The best thing about the tour was our guide, Alok. He was fantastic! Did an excellent job, very knowledgeable, caring, took full charge of the tour and added more places to the itinerary. Our driver, Viki, was also superb as was Rami, the helper. Alok handled the whole trip in the best possible way. RSD, on the other hand, did not support us before the trip - did not pass on dietary requirements to the hotels. Did not help with e-visa details and although my partner and I were both on the booking they refused to speak to me and were rather unhelpful. They should be versed in the e-visa application if any issues instead of passing us to number in India which didn't reply. Few hotels under par including lack of towels, taps very loose or impossible to turn. Subsequent flood in one room. However guide most helpful.

We recently returned from our holiday to Andalusia with RSD and it was, without any shadow of doubt, one of the best holidays we ever had. The airport transfers on arrival and departure went smoothly, and our guide Sebastian was professionally superb. The hotel facilities were outstanding, very clean, comfortable, airy and spacious apartments. The meals were delicious, of a wide variety with themed nights reflected in menu choices-American, Mexican, Spanish, Chinese, etc. The tour excursions were truly magnificent and just amazing, which enabled us to explore the length and breadth of Andalusia at very reasonable costs, including trips to Saville,Malaga, Granada, Marbella, Cordoba,as well as a trip to Gibraltar. It is almost too good to be true, but it is that RSD can put together such an excellent travel package for the price we paid. This is what makes RSD that good value for money-a unique selling point, which will be difficult for beat. Well done, RSD! We have already booked our next trip with you and look forward to travelling with you for many years to come. George & Beatrice Williams

We have travelled with RSD six times. All have fun like clockwork and enjoyable. The latest was Istanbul and Agean We like a week of cultural touring and a second week of relaxing. All our guides have been great and the hotels are modern and clean. The coaches are comfortable and modern. The flights are standard economy flights with just enough leg room. Great value.

RSD provided us with a great tour guide Erol and driver Hasan, who were both so helpful during our first week of touring the Lycia region which was fascinating with amazing history and landscapes. Our second week in the Seher Sun Palace Hotel was superb with two more brilliant outings organised through Vikret the tour guide at the hotel. So impressed with the service and standard provided and enjoyed the disco nights with Batuhan the DJ.

Travelled at low season (mid March) fortunately timed perfectly for weather turning a pleasantly warm 19 degrees. Ephesus and Dalyan river boat tour (included) were half day events and fabulous. Tour guide was a fountain of knowledge and looked after us well. Food package was excellent with one or two acceptable lows. Accommodation always clean and inviting. Of the three tour excursions, only the Pamukkale half day was worth it as it was impressive both for the thermal features and the magnificent Hierapolis historic site. The other two were disappointing for the money (Myra - small, and Sirince - rustic shopping), both should have been included for free. Shopping experiences were like fascinating museum visits with shopping opportunities attached, so actually quite good - if you can resist the temptation to buy. As the guide said, βYou are all adults and no-one can make you buy!β. Average age of group >60, and lots of walking and steps, so not for everyone, but would definitely do it again.

This was our first trip with RSD and our first trip to India. I must admit to being a little nervous as we really didnβt know what to expect. We neednβt have worried, right from arriving at the airport in India right the way through to returning to the airport to come home we were looked after in every aspect from quality hotels, a knowledgeable tour guide. Comfortable coach and excellent driver. Our fellow travellers were good company and we saw lots of exciting sites including The Taj Mahal and Red Fort. We even had an elephant ride. While we were in India we booked our next trip with RSD to Rhodes in April. We will keep checking the website for another exciting trip to somewhere else new. Margaret from Aberdeen, Scotland
