Travelled with RSD to Nepal in June. Very good holiday, saw lots of interesting places, guide was superb and hotels were of a good standard. I would recommend the RSD holiday to Nepal

Cultural trip to Sri Lanka
I have travelled with RSD a few times and have never had a bad experience. An excellent way of seeing a country at an affordable price.
Fantastically beautiful country with lovely people
Went to Sri Lanka with RSD - fantastic countryside, amazing friendly people, good hotels and an amazing journey around the country in all its guises - one of the best trips of my life (I travel 10 mths a year) - why so good - people, no hassles of any kind going out, low cost economy, wonderful weather - an absolute gem of a holiday full of variety with something for everyone.
An Absolutely Fantastic Trip To The Balkans!
We had a wonderful holiday seeing so many UNESCO sites in Kosova, North Macedonia, Montenegro & Albania. Except for the last one, which was a little bit "Soviet era", the hotels were lovely with excellent food, very comfortable indeed. Our Turkish guide Gdoikca went above & beyond to help all passengers on her coach, even rescuing a hearing aid, which had fallen out in Cafe Mozart in Budva, Montenegro & organising for someone to drive it to our hotel at least 2 hours away so we had it before the coach left next morning.

Great holiday firm, great experiences, great prices
We are currently on our 'free' week of the two week cultural tour 'Istanbul & the Aegean'. This must be our 7th or 8th RSD trip. This particular trip has been superb. Our guide - Suat - was incredibly knowledgeable, well organised, and with fabulous English, a great sense of humour. His independence knowledge of all the places we visited the temples, ruins, cities and towns, mosques and heritage sites was quite remarkable. The hotels have been brilliant - and - certainly for the cost of the holiday, they have been exceptional. We've read reviews that are negative for this company, and struggle to understand them !! There is no other company offering these sorts of cultural experiences - let's be clear - you're getting your flight, your transfer, your 4* or 5* hotel, your buffet breakfast, your coach driver, your tour guide ... and your second week alongside the beach in a great hotel ... for free !!! For Β£300 !!!! What on earth do some people expect !!!! You wouldn't get a week in the UK for that !!! Yes, you get the option of an evening meal deal, there's extra excursions and an 'all in' package on the second week. Yes, there can be a fair amount of travelling in a coach (I'm not sure how people think you'll get from one site/attraction to another without travelling in a coach !!!) But all of this, even down to the exact miles you'll travel each day is made perfectly clear before you book ! There are NO hidden extras ! It's all in the prebooking information. We haven't booked our meals for the second week, preferring to venture out , get some walking in and meet and eat at more authentic Turkish places - there was absolutely no pressure to take the meal package. So..... we have booked and rebooked with RSD . We think that they offer exceptional value holidays, with 'choices' to pay for 'extras' if that's what you want to do. It's all clearly explained. If you want to be independent - then do your own thing. If you want the security and comfort of knowing you have a superb buffet/evening meal every night, then pay extra for it. Personally, we've seen some amazing places, had some great tour guides, and at extremely good value prices - and we've booked Cambodia and South Africa later in the year - speaks for itself !!!!!!

Beyond the Balkans - Great value for money
Beyond the Balkans - A full on overview of 4 countries, Kosovo, Macedonian, Montenegro and Albania. Greats sites from coastline to monasteries. Good tour guide and modern coaches. Hotels generally good with decent food. Great value for money.

The best tour operator we have known.
We always enjoy RSD holidays/tours and this to Rhodes was no exception. The sights were very good and the travel arrangements, hotels and tour guide were wonderful for oldies like us. we were kept informed at every step regarding our programme and the accommodation, food, and service were very good. The free holiday in the second week was smashing and overall we were very happy with the whole holiday.

Not too good to be true!
The seriously discounted Rhodes & The Aegean offer that fell out of a magazine seemed too good to be true, but we decided we had little to lose by giving it a try and we have just returned from a very enjoyable holiday experience. Given the large parties RSD was catering for, queues did develop for ferry and airport transfers, and at hotel check-in on Rhodes (though check-in was much more streamlined in Turkey) - and also for dinner tables during our 'free week' at the Rodos Palace Hotel (which was processing some 2,000 guests at a time!). We would recommend the Gourmet Packages for evening meals (which were good value) as dining would otherwise be hard to find on tour and off-season in the vicinity of the Rodos Palace Hotel. However, unknown until arrival, payment for the additional packages bookable on arrival but priced in GBP was required in cash rather than by card. So, guests might want to consider taking sufficient sterling in cash to avoid the double currency conversion charges involved in paying by euros drawn from ATMs. Our excusions were well chosen and planned, and the whole tour well guided. We considered it very good value for money and look forward to booking another holiday with RSD before long.

Brilliant Balkan Tour
This is a new tour offered by RSD this year. In general, excellent value & an interesting insight into a developing tourist area in SE Europe. We visited 4 countries in 1 week which involves alot of travelling & the crossing of borders.The coach was very comfortable & air conditioned. Our driver was excellent & kept the coach immaculate. The guide,Mahir,was friendly,informative & knowledgeable. Generally, the hotel rooms were of a high standard,but please remember that apart from Montenegro this is an area of developing tourism. The food was good with varied menus & plentiful. The excursion package involved two boat trips & a cultural evening. During the tour we visited Tirana & Skopje & had the benefit of 2 local guides. We also saw ancient monasteries & enjoyed spectacular scenery. Overall, a fantastic trip & great value for money. Highly recommended!

Brilliantly organised and enjoyable tour
I had a splendid experience visiting Vietnam from 14-25 February 2025. The tour itinerary covered an impressive range of experiences including UNESCO sites, farming co-operatives, museums and so much more. We were in the hands of three different guides who each added value to the separate regions of this fascinating country. Our internal flights were arranged perfectly, the daily visits were busy but not overly demanding, the food was exceptional throughout and special meals were provided for 5 people who had distinctive dietary requirements. The service at every location, each hotel, and from the guides and drivers was outstanding. I am absolutely delighted with this tour and the opportunity to see and learn so much about Vietnam. I am very happy to recommend it highly.

Caveat emptor!
We were so looking forward to seeing the cultural highlights of the Western Balkans but sadly spent more time in sales showrooms than at any location mentioned in the itinerary. We are all experienced travellers and would never go with RSD again. After hearing about the fatal fire in N. Macedonia yesterday we feel lucky to be alive as there was no mention of emergency procedures from the guide or any safety provisions in the hotels.
