I hummed about this one before…
I hummed about this one before eventually not investing. I could easily have got done but usually for a lot of the projects I wasn't quick enough in deciding. That is probably why because it felt like a pressure sell....invest now or miss out. Disgusted really from the comments what has happened.

Just read thrives renewable said that there sorry to hear ripple gone under that no payment has been made to them either from Ripple or the coop. There looking forward to dealing with one or the other but at moment there continues with build on there own. Why hasn't ripple sorted a deal

Could not make my final payment. Just checked their reviews and have found out they have gone bust. Thanks for telling us no doubt I would have lost my investment. The Directors would be well cared for got scam written all over it. Have had no return on my investment.

Kirk Hill
Hi , I have invested in Kirk Hill and am really looking forward to 2023 when it goes live - i am however concerned about the need to change to a new supplier to get the benefits - i am currently with Bulb energy and although there are similarities with Octopus my tariffs are better than what is currently available through Octopus - so the question is - do you have any plans to include Bulb energy in your recognised suppliers as they are also 100% renewable users

A great idea made simple
When I first heard of what Ripple Energy are doing, I knew I wanted to be part of that. Like many people, I live in an older property that poses challenges when it come to renewable energy. While solar panels may be a possibility for me, they wouldn't be optimal (wrong orientation, roofing material and shape). With Ripple Energy, none of that matters and they make the process so easy.

Investing in clean & green renewable electricity
I invested in the first Ripple Energy project (Graig Fatha). On the 26.06.2020 I purchased 4,491 Watts (12,001kWh/year) of electricity generated by the South Wales wind turbine. I did this to stabilise my electricity costs and to offset my high home energy usage, as I have two EV's and a family with two young children. To date (30.06.2022) I have saved £284.87 since the turbine went live on the 15.03.2022, and with current savings (lower summer wind speeds) of £2.66/day my investment will pay for itself between 6.8 to 8 years at todays rates through my Octopus Energy electricity account :-) I cannot rate Ripple Energy's staff highly enough. These people are highly experienced, and many of them have worked in the renewable energy sector for many, many years! Craig

I keep talking about it everywhere
I keep talking about it everywhere. For me It is all about democratizing energy transition. We don’t have to wait politicians and big companies while we are pushing them. Everyone can be a part of the energy transition without being directly involved in installation and maintenance part. Even if you leave in an apartment block or you are a tenant. Subscribing for your loved ones can also be a nice gift. they will remember it every month) we are planning to increase our investment as soon as we can afford.

Easy sign-up process.
The sign up process was easy enough and I have received answers to all my queries but feel I can only give an objective review once the wind turbine I have invested in is actually producing power. Once I see the savings on my electricity bill I might well give a higher review rating.
