I hummed about this one before eventually not investing. I could easily have got done but usually for a lot of the projects I wasn't quick enough in deciding. That is probably why because it felt like a pressure sell....invest now or miss out. Disgusted really from the comments what has happened.
Just read thrives renewable said that there sorry to hear ripple gone under that no payment has been made to them either from Ripple or the coop. There looking forward to dealing with one or the other but at moment there continues with build on there own. Why hasn't ripple sorted a deal
Could not make my final payment. Just checked their reviews and have found out they have gone bust. Thanks for telling us no doubt I would have lost my investment. The Directors would be well cared for got scam written all over it. Have had no return on my investment.

Awesome opportunity to own a share in a wind turbine. The co-operative organisation has kept us fully informed all the way through and I'm very much looking forward to my first electrons flowing from the turbine in the next couple of months.

Ripple Energy is a great way for consumers to cooperatively own a wind farm and buy the electricity that supplies my house. Since I bought shares in Ripple, the value of my investment has already increased due to rising energy prices. They have kept me updated on the progress with building the wind farm, which is very exciting. Their website has a dashboard where you can easily increase your shareholding in the wind farm. Highly recommended.

I sent an enquiry to Ripple Energy on 29 October. Today, ten days later, I received a request to post a review here with "Your experience is important." Well, I haven't received a reply to my enquiry (yes, I've checked the spam folder), and I'd like one, please. (In the interests of full disclosure, I am a shareholder as well as a member of Ripple.) [Update added later the same day: I've now had a response, and all is good. Obviously I have an interest in Ripple succeeding in their mission, and - having declared that - people might be suspicious if I changed my rating from 1 to 5 stars, so I've changed it to 3, sitting on the fence.]

Initially felt like a bit of a leap of faith, but all seems to be going to plan. Looking forward to first wind turbine going live in New Year. I have had a few conversations with members of the team and all seems very professional and well run.
