Right move is set up to sell financial services (like mortgage products) and promote estate agencies that pay for additional promotion. Registration is painful, taking 5 mins to wade through their security protocols

I would give minus stars if possible. Our letting agent uses Rightmove referencing: So the Rightmove rep, Craig called my wife and within 30 seconds insisted on access to her bank account (?!). Then, when she declined and offered the usual payslips and statements, the rep said, "You want this property, get over it and swallow the pill". I have never heard such unprofessional nonsense in my entire life. I am absolutely insensed and who in their right mind would give bank account access to a complete stranger in Ireland??? Who the hell do these people think they are? Does anyone trust 'Rightmove' with their personal financial data, you'd have to be insane.

Rightmove guys, The data on property is so painfully poor. No filtering by the size of the property, loads of the properties don't even have such information on their description. No user friendly results sorting options. It is shameful that you allow all the crap with no useful information land on your website.

I have been using the RM website on a daily basis for years and years and have always found it to be a pleasure to use. The new website is a disaster. It's so bad that I am exploring other providers to get away from the frustration of clunking around the new RM format. It's not just that it is different, it is inferior to the previous website in multiple ways. I rarely write reviews but this is so annoying that I have to feedback. Where to start? 1. As soon as I click on a property I lose the '2 bed detached' strap-line and have to go searching for that information. 2. There is no logical, intuitive layout to the page. My eye doesn't know where to look for new information. I use this site daily and I still don't know where to look. A line of tabs is so simple and so quick to use, why change it? 3. With each new area that I click on I end up with a totally new layout, further frustrating my desire to know where to look for information. 4. If I click on photos, I cannot step through the images with a single click, I have scroll. I should be able to do either. It feels cheap and crude. 5. If I now want to go from images to a map I have to go 'back' and then search for a map link somewhere and then click that. There should be a direct link. Having clicked the map link, surprisingly it doesn't take me to a new page but drops me down the same page at which point I lose the header information. I now have to click again to go to the actual map page. 6. OK, now I'm ready to look at the floor plan. I can't go straight to the floor plan from here. OK I'll go back to images first. I click on the small image at the top which takes me to... the map link?! and I have to scroll back up to the top of the page to get to the header and now search for a link to find the floor plan that I was originally looking for. As I walk through this process for the sake of the feedback I realise that once again I can't find the floor plan. Ah, I have to scroll further down the page as the floor plan link is off screen... As an aside, I also find the two images to the right of the main image on the homepage irritating in the way that they scroll as I index through but this may just be personal preference. Shall I go on? It just defies belief that this format could have been approved and released on such a major site. Just bring back the old one. Maybe do a survey of people that regularly use the site and see if there are a few tweaks to improve it? Sorry to be so negative but I am being driven away as a RM user...

THE BEST THERE IS !! A great place to find properties with great features to save in your profile , save searches , types of property etc. You find the odd property on the others but this is the best by far !
