Honestly, steer well clear of Remove My Car. I handed over my car expecting a hassle-free service, but what I got was nothing short of a nightmare.
🔹 No proper paperwork or confirmation.
🔹 They didn’t inform the DVLA like they said they would.
🔹 Left me to deal with all the admin myself – risking fines and penalties.
🔹 Had to sort everything on my own just to stay on the right side of the law.
What’s meant to be a simple collection turned into a right mess. No communication, no accountability. If you value your time and don’t want the stress, go elsewhere. This lot are not serious.

My old car was removed without me having to take a day off work(as it was a day in the week). After following the email instructions, the job was done, swift & quick & I received the full amount that was quoted.
Easy to organise and good service. Only reason for 4 stars is they couldn’t collect for a couple weeks - otherwise good, simple and easy. Definitely recommend.

Got offered £459 for my vehicle Skoda Octavia was told if vehicle didn’t start and drive would be £350 and if it started and drove it would be £459.
The vehicle drove on to the recovery truck with no issues I contacted remove my car before releasing the car to the recovery company that my vehicle has started and does drive the colleague on the phone agreed the price would go back to £459. So I released the vehicle

This company was great - they outsource their collections though but when I had trouble with the collection company I phoned Remove My Car and Zhuna was super helpful and got my payment to me by the same afternoon.
Received a quote online. One phone call and a date arranged with same quote. Driver contacted me 30 mins before collection. Driver pleasant and helpful. Site says payment within 48 hours. Expected it take longer as BH weekend. Nope - money paid as soon as possible. From the quote on the website to the efficiency and affability of the lady on the phone, to the driver and then payment. Everything first class. Can't recommend them highly enough. They certainly know what Customer Service is all about. Many thanks
I had a terrible experience with RemoveMyCar. I arranged for them to remove my car 12 days ago, but the driver never showed up. I called the next day to reschedule, and they gave me a time window of 8am to 3pm two days later. However, the driver again did not show up or call to reschedule. I called the next day, and the driver said his truck was broken and in the shop. He said he would come today from 1pm to 2pm, but he never showed up or called.
Even if the driver's truck was broken, I would have expected him to call and apologize for not being able to make it. I am very disappointed with the level of service I have received from RemoveMyCar. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
I am also disappointed with the way RemoveMyCar has responded to the negative reviews they have received. They have accused their competitors of writing fake reviews in order to damage their reputation. However, I believe that the negative reviews are genuine and reflect the poor service that many customers have received.
Still have the car 12 days later!
I hope that RemoveMyCar will take steps to improve their customer service.
UPDATE
After I added this review, Remove my car called me and said they had no idea the driver was having such problems! I guess talking to Remove my car 4 times on the phone about the driver does not count for anything. Remove my car said that they would have a new driver contact me within a few hours. It’s been another day and I still have not heard anything from anyone about having the car removed! Looks like I am going to have someone else remove the car for 100£ less because Remove my car is not up for the simple task at hand!
Disgusting waited 2 weeks only to be offered less than half price that was agreed on as the cat was not original well I'm not a mechanic and the car is 15yrs old
First thing was messed around with a collection day didn't turn up the original day of collection turned up two days later to collect. Was told I would be paid 24 hours later 4 days later still no payment rang multiple times was told I would be paid today by 5pm still nothing in by 5 pm was told it was to late to chase up now would have to wait till the morning. Now my bank account has gone overdrawn and going to get charges and missed payments. What a joke if not paid tomorrow I will be contacting the police
