❌ Avoid Remove My Car – Absolute Shambles 🚗💥 Honestly, steer well clear of Remove My Car. I handed over my car expecting a hassle-free service, but what I got was nothing short of a nightmare. 🔹 No proper paperwork or confirmation. 🔹 They didn’t inform the DVLA like they said they would. 🔹 Left me to deal with all the admin myself – risking fines and penalties. 🔹 Had to sort everything on my own just to stay on the right side of the law. What’s meant to be a simple collection turned into a right mess. No communication, no accountability. If you value your time and don’t want the stress, go elsewhere. This lot are not serious. #RemoveMyCar #CarScrapFail #DVLA #LondonDrivers #BadService #RealReview

Car removal

My old car was removed without me having to take a day off work(as it was a day in the week). After following the email instructions, the job was done, swift & quick & I received the full amount that was quoted.

Fine

Liaison with local garage was fine although it was a bit mean to knock more money off for a missing battery. Pick up was quick and communication that they were on their way was useful. Transfer of money was quick and no hassle in my bank next day

A positive experience

Most competitive price for scrap car in the area and Benfleet scrap metal company turned up on time on the date arranged. First time I’ve had a scrap car collected and couldn’t ask for more. Remove my car phoned on the day after the car was collected to see if it had been collected and I confirmed it had been and I had been paid the agreed amount . All in all a very positive experience.

Impeccable service

The service from the breaker was impeccable, (apart from being just a little later than originally stated). The chap doing the pick-up was friendly, helpful and competent. Their payment by bank transfer came through quickly and in full. I could not have asked for better.

DO NOT USE. No payment & poor communication

Awful company - do NOT use! Still waiting for payment and poor communication. They were meant to collect it on Friday and never showed up, no message or anything. Then Saturday afternoon someone arrives to take the car, again no message from the company to tell me this was happening. Anyway, it has now been nearly 2 weeks and they have still not payed me for the car, despite me chasing them daily. As I was getting nowhere with them, I asked for the accounts department contact details which I was then given a fake email address that doesn’t work. I’m very concerned that I will never see my money despite them having taken my car over a week ago now.

Remove my car and Mainline Salvage.

Perfect, easy to use, what you see in seconds is what you get. No hidden charges etc. No 'silly questions'. Collection arranged to suit me. All went exactly as they said. My vehicle was collected by Mainline Salvage, they also were perfect. What l thought might be traumatic was simple , honest and l can only highly recommend remove my car and Mainline Salvage.

GREAT COLLECTION BUT STILL NO PAYMENT

My car was collected Monday morning 7.30am and the service was prompt, efficient and friendly, however it’s now Thursday lunchtime and still no payment received How are some of the below experiences receiving their payments within 1 hour and I am still awaiting mine 4 days later NOT HAPPY
