This is the first time that I have used a remote legal service through the Estate Agents to sell a property. I found the ‘e-Way conveyancing made easy’ system to be easy to understand & navigate. All documents were completed or uploaded to my system record together with all corrrespondence. Communicating by email with our Conveyancer, Shirley, was convenient & efficient with responses & updates received in a timely manner. In addition, Shirley was easy to talk to by phone, when required, she kept me updated at all times and clarified any queries that I had. I would definitely recommend this legal service.

Overall it felt like a professional service, somewhat disappointed that most contact was through emails rather than a more direct personal telephone conversation. As this is a service most people will only use a handful of times it’s hard to compare. The online portal made it clear what was required though it meant if one of us had looked at an update the system the other couldn’t easily tell what was viewed by whom and when. The rush towards the stamp duty change meant momentum was lost in the chain, we could have completed a month earlier than we did.
