Brilliant service from start to finish, easy to arrange collection and the driver Royd kept me informed with his ETA and was really friendly and helpful unloading.

I bought a chair on ebay 200miles away, Porta made getting it delivered super easy. It started with a user friendly web site, clear pricing and great comms. The pick up and delivery went smoothly, my delivery team were speedy, on time and professional I'd not done this before as I thought it would be too complex, now I know it's easy-peasy

Really good company was kept up to date with delivery it was collected and delivered on time well protected and arrived in perfect condition , guys when very professional and polite would recommend I've used other cheaper couriers in the past but will be using porta for all future ones

They picked up and delivered a bookcase from the other end of the country the same day, got it here safe and sound and up a flight of stairs, and communicated with me promptly every step of the way. I couldn't ask for more. After being messed around by another courier on Shiply for almost a week, it was a massive relief to find a professional delivery company that does what it says it's going to do when it says it's going to do it.

I found this a very reasonably priced and really easy way of moving some furniture. I was having some furniture found on Facebook marketplace moved, and I’ve seen since that they offer a service whereby money can be handed over too which is great. The driver was helpful at both ends and I would definitely use Porta again. Once the driver is confirmed I was able to narrow down the pick up window which made it easier for the seller at the other end.

Booking was straightforward, communication was reasonable and the delivery agent, when he finally arrived, was friendly and easy to deal with. BUT, and it's a massive BUT, we really did not anticipate that he wouldn't arrive to deliver our table and chairs until AFTER 10PM at night! This meant we had to wait hours before a lengthy drive home through the night and atrocious weather. The weather isn't Porta's fault but we would have missed it if the delivery had been at a sensible time. Sorry but you really should warn people that this is possible. We even advised you that pickup could be earlier if necessary.

I have used porta twice now, and I have to say they are BRILLIANT!! Really reasonable pricing, you get updated the day before with a time frame and ETA, they communicate really well, all the delivery drivers we have had have been super lovely and helpful!!! Second time using Porta, was quoted £150 to deliver a bookcase across London by national courier service. Porta quote was £45.

Excellent communication from my initial enquiry through to the hand over of the packages. Estimated delivery time changed and took a little longer than originally anticipated but I was kept informed by the Porta team. I would definitely use Porta again.

I was able to cancel 35 hours before pick up after my seller let me down. This was fantastic for me to not lose the money and a sign of great customer service that they so this. They also have a what's app chat which is great. Also was the cheapest I could find. Will absolutely use for my next courier.

Booking was easy and the guys who delivered our sofa were great - really friendly and helpful. I have to say this was also a good £50 cheaper other companies I’d tried. However, the time slot you book is only for pick up, not the total trip. I booked a 2-4pm time slot, and I got a notification around 3pm saying my sofa had been collected, so I was expecting it to arrive 15 minutes later (it was a short distance). The van finally turned up almost an hour and a half later, and the driver said he’d moved another customer out of her flat in between picking up our sofa and dropping it off?! Overall I’d say great if you’re on a tight budget, but not if you’re on a tight schedule!

Having bought two glass display units on impulse on online auction I had to organise collection,I saw the Porta ad online so gave collection and delivery post codes and a few other details and got an instant quote,I was soon sent details of the courier and collection and delivery date ,I was sent a reassuring photo of the units professionally secured in van with time of delivery which was spot on , the guys were polite and helpful, I was very impressed and would definitely recommend and use them again, Many thanks

Booking the collection and delivery to our address was so easy and we were informed of the cost immediately, no hidden fees or extra charges. Unfortunately our driver was delayed by a couple of hours, but made for it by their care, diligence and speed when unloading. They even brought everything in to the room it was bought for and were very respectful. I certainly will use them again and can highly recommend this service.
