I completed today the purchase of my new home. As a first-time buyer the process was quite complex, we faced multiple hardships with estate agent lies, accessing LISA funds, and an uncommon mortgage with two applicants but a single proprietor. Through this process, Emma Littlehales shielded us from the estate agent's absurd requests and pressure, always taking her time to explain things that weren't as clear and to give advice on the best course of action for myself given our specific situations. With that said PLS solicitors could make use of an upgrade on their portal and an increase of automated communications through email. Would be great to receive updates more often and to have an email trail of what was discussed. I ended up having to call often but their call services were great. Will use PLS solicitors again in the future.

PLS has made my complex remortgage completed in such a professional and efficient manner. Even though there were so much delays from thé management company side but Nikhil ensured to give me and the financial advisor daily updates about the progress. Will always use them again and ask for Nikhil

I am in the process of buying an apartment in Manchester and to my dismay PLS solicitors are acting on behalf of the seller. They just are not engaging with my solicitor or responding to their enquiries. We rang the office over 6 times yesterday and get connected to a phantom extension and are then cut off . I have bought several properites for investment purposes and PLS are by far the worst. It’s been over 12 weeks and we have not even exchanged contracts.If you want to realistically sell / buy your property i would avoid using them .

This company is a mess My sale was agreed kast Dec but still not exchanged Try and ring them is hopeless getting cut off all the time Left in dark with minimal contact with a portal which is hopeless

I used PLS on recommendation. My own experience has not been positive and I would certainly not recommend them to a friend or relative. What appears to be obvious from reading the reviews and my family/own experience is that the service depends on who handles your case. I completed on 28/9 and have yet to receive a completion statement and my remaining funds. There have been a series of errors and lack of good service. The portal is a joke. Promises are made and not kept. The phone line drops just as you are number one in the queue. My case handler disappeared without explanation. My documents were sent to the wrong solicitor. It has been more stressful than it should have been. Yes, I have made a complaint. No, I have not heard anything from the case handler to rectify the issues or their manager even though I was promised a call back.
