Good solicitors but hidden costs
The solicitors were advised to us from Bellway and we went with their advice. They helped us throughout as it was a tricky situation with the house being delayed etc. But they were very helpful. I would just make people aware there was hidden costs we werent aware of initially and ended up being very expensive. As we were unaware we would have to pay £450 in the middle of the process and they dont account for working with a lender in their initial pricing meaning we paid alot more than we were originally told. Ellie and her team guided us well and were always on top of what was happening if we rang.

negligence, slow, incompetence
good portal and onboarding, one efficient gentleman on the phone who passed the message to completely arrogant paralegal who acts as she wants and pleases, dies not comply with instructions and deadlinew, completely ignores a request or overlooks axaerious charge. Very rude, slow and incompetent, daresay lazy to do something but i start to believe PLS uses freshers for convetancing and they gave no bssic idea about title plan, the borders I have receive a bunch of papers, all paste and copy, with BTL nonsense fir residential property, couple of things to sign but anything checked and just asked to check it on my own whether the borders are correct etc. Incredibky slow to provide Mortgage report, possibly hard to use a generated template. The mortgage expiring soon,it took her a month to run Enquiries and actually lie..Veru dishonest, doing what she wants wnd rude as a paralegal without a registered solicitor's supervision to CEO etc Just messed slow process, manipulated by EAcsabotaging the sale so we have reported them to RSA for investigation and professional negligence claims. Avoid.

Excellent service and very patient
I recently have used PLS solicitors for a sale and purchase of a property. Unfortunately I had to pull out of the original purchase and buy somewhere else and I have to say Nick was always very patient and helpful and helped me achieve the new purchase within 4 weeks so I did not lose my buyer. Would highly recommend.

After so many experiences with other solicitors ; I can now genuinely say that PLS Solicitors are really very good company when it comes to house purchase. Sophie and Megan who handled my case were extremely good in knowledge and superfast in action like we are living in 10G world. Many reasons are there to praise and appreciate them but two very important things are speed and accuracy. 1) 25th Jan mortgage accepted and on 31st Jan contract exchanged. 2) No errors and so all went swiftly. Many thanks to both of you .

ridiculously slow and unresponsive
I didn't choose to use this solicitor but unfortunately, the seller of the property I am purchasing did. Over 2 months wait for them to respond to queries raised. Moving extremely slowly and getting quite fed up with their constant delays.

Will was always a pleasure to talk to and offered lots of advice. Excellent service from beginning to end. Our sale and purchase were far from straightforward. Will at PLS was simply amazing! He ensured we got to exchange contracts when there had been many,many hurdles. The online portal is quick, efficient and simple to use. Oh gosh they really do have horrible people in that office, I had terrible experience from the beginning to the end Beth and co are terrible staff member ,it a hell of a stress before paying me back part of mortgage incentive which was £250, at first they lied the bank never gave them , I asked the bank who said it been paid to them. Communication is limited , you have to put in 100percent before things are done and they work with the builder solicitor , they pretend as if they with the client, sometime they don't answer the calls - Please avoid this company
