Swift and painless new build purchase
We were advised to use PLS by persimmon at the start of proceding and I have zero complaints. We had a Swift deadline for completion due to a family issue and a holiday we had booked and PLS helped get that done. Had regular updates and could phone and speak to a member of the team whenever I needed. I have spoken to other people who used their own solicitors and its taken much longer and more painful to get things completed. Very happy we chose to use PLS.

We instructed PLS to oversee both the sale of our property as well as the purchase of our new build property via New Homes Group. We were assigned William Kerrs-Farmer and his team for both and they were exceptional from start to finish. Not even close to what reviews are
The whole process was delayed! We’ve went with them as the current developer not going to name names, suggested they work with them. We’ve ofc had to pay in advance for a service…sent out documents, 4 weeks later L K Team has not replied or acknowledge emails. I’ve explained I’ve got overseas money, no one cared. Until I’ve made an informal complaint things stated to move….on my money, on our time the whole process just stood still 5 weeks within initial start! Cherry on top we have paid up to 75% of the bill which would mean upon completion we’d pay 25%. That was not the case we had other costs added in at 100% in the last bill like passport check, etc which were the initial thing checked when we started. We ended up paying more that the average, as I’ve had to translate documents the next day so I can get the ball rolling. You cannot just add costs at end of the bill when we paid 75% of ur initial costs! When I’ve raise this- I haven’t gottten a reply just they you need to pay, as we done exchange and there was no turning back! Unsure how other people had a great service - I for once! Never been contacted by them - as I see they do when complaints are raised! Never had an explanation about the 100% added cost to a 75% of what we already paid. We were never made aware that completion will have a service charge to pay in advance…just surprise on the last bill.
