UK Drivers Beware
A warning to all UK Drivers. This car rental company provides cheap car rentals but use excuses like Brexit to charge you hidden fees that they claim you need or the car would not be legal on the roads, the headoffice is impossible to contact and they never return any emails or phone calls. Do Not Use! You Have been Warned.

Disgraceful customer service
Upon arriving a little over an hour late (during office hours), through no fault of our own, we were met with news that this meant a very large fine for our rental fee - over ten times the rental amount. When I asked to speak to the manager, the odious, rude, unempathetic, unsympathetic, objectionable man on the desk told me he WAS the manager, and then just laughed when I said I want to speak to HIS manager. I don't think I've ever met such terrible customer relations. He appeared to resent that we'd booked through an agent, and so wasn't receiving as much of the fee as he obviously felt entitled to. On reading other reviews, I've no doubt he would have added a "cleaning fee" or similar, if we'd have taken up the rental. After being met with such an attitude, I decided that I'd rather lose my deposit and go with another company than give him the business. Avoid at all costs!!

Uwaga na ukryte opłaty! Moje doświadczenie z firmą Panek było bardzo negatywne. Początkowo wydawało się, że wszystko jest w porządku – wynajem samochodu wyglądał na uczciwy, a ceny wydawały się rozsądne. Jednak po zakończeniu umowy okazało się, że firma naliczyła szereg ukrytych opłat, które nie były wcześniej wymienione. Opłaty za rzekome usługi dodatkowe, których nie zamawiałam, mimo że zwróciłam samochód w stanie zgodnym z umową, znacząco podniosły ostateczny koszt wynajmu. Dodatkowo obsługa klienta nie była w stanie udzielić jasnych informacji na temat tych opłat, a kontakt z firmą był utrudniony. Czuję się oszukana i zdecydowanie odradzam korzystanie z usług tej firmy. Uważajcie na ukryte koszty, które mogą znacznie przekroczyć początkową ofertę.

J'ai loué un véhicule chez eux via Ryanair, quel erreur, 500€ de perdu sur des rayures inexistantes car j'avais pris une vidéo du véhicule mais trop tard l'argent a été retiré de mon compte, ils font des factures malhonnête chez un garagiste et font payer la totalité de la caution, ne jamais louer un véhicule dans cette escroquerie.

Sehr schlechte Erfahrung mit gemacht. Pickup in Danzig am Flughafen. Ich wollte es auf Englisch ab wickeln aber da der Mitarbeiter angeblich kein gutes Englisch sprach, haben wir es dann auf Polnisch gemacht obwohl ich das noch schlechter kann als Englisch... Am Flughafen noch eine Pauschale für die Endreinigung verkauft - hab ich eingestimmt, damit ich den Wagen nicht selber reinigen muss... Morgens um 8:00 Uhr ging unser Flieger zurück, Rückgabe war gegen 6:30. in einen "OFFENEN" Kasten am Terminal... Zum Glück habe ich das einwerfen des Schlüssels mit dem Handy gefilmt. um 15:30 am selben Tag eine Mail mit einer Rechnung erhalten, dass die Kaution wegen einer "Vertragsstrafe" eingehalten wurde. Auf emails wurde nicht reagiert, trotz Mahnung und Fristsetzung. Wie die Geschichte ausgeht? Keine Ahnung, aber diese Autovermietung ist in meinen Augen in Betrügerischer Absicht unterwegs. Davor kann nur gewarnt werden!

Przestrzegam przed wypożyczalnią Panek we Wrocławiu! Zostałem niesłusznie obciążony 300 zł za czyszczenie auta, mimo że oddałem samochód czysty, prosto z myjni. Droga na lotnisko biegnie przez budowę hotelu Hilton, więc to normalne, że mogą pojawić się drobne zabrudzenia. Firma wykorzystuje to, by naliczać absurdalne opłaty za pyłki, które łatwo można usunąć. Wygląda to na celowe naciąganie klientów. Unikajcie tej wypożyczalni, jeśli zależy Wam na uczciwym traktowaniu, lepiej isc do zagranicznej wypozyczalni niz dawac zarobic rodzimej firmie ktora traktuje nas jak skarbonki.

OSZUŚCI - DON'T HIRE A CAR FROM PANEK
OSZUŚCI. NIE POLECAM. SCAMMERS. DON'T USE THEM FOR CAR HIRE. Co się robi jak firma powoli upada? TAK! ZGADZA SIĘ. Opier... się każdego na co tylko się da 😅 Tak działa właśnie Panek! Przestrzegam innych. Nie wypożyczajcie bo pożałujecie. Kontakt z BOKiem zaczyna się zaskoczoną Panią z obsługi, a kończy no jak inaczej niż jak nie odpisywaniem na maile 😅 Jesteście śmieszni, i obyście padli jak najszybciej 🙂 PS. Moja sprawa już zgłoszona. Bokiem Wam nie przejdzie. I dobrze wiecie o co mi chodzi, kolejny raz nie będę tłumaczył.

AVOID - huge charge for made up damages and impossible to contact
I hired a car for a few hours during a trip to Krakow from Panek via easyCar. When I collected the car from the airport I was charged an additional fee which they said was mandatory (unlike what my booking information claimed), and I was told to sign a document authorising a deposit hold. It turns out this signature was then also used for a report on the condition of the car, stating it was 100% fine with no damage. I was not given any opportunity to review the car or this document. When I then dropped the car back off a few hours later, I was again given no option of reviewing the car condition then and there, with the person on the desk saying they do that later and to just drop the keys into a box. The next day I then get an email claiming I’ve damaged the car along with some very blurry photos that don’t show much, along with a £1,200 charge! I’ve tried calling Panek and no one ever picks up and they’re not replying to my emails. From reading reviews, Panek seems to very often pull these scams where you are charged extortionate amounts for damages you didn’t cause, alongside very shoddy evidence and no replies to complaints. I would very strongly urge anyone to avoid renting a car via Panek, use a more respected brand as Panek are fraudulent scam artists.
