Disgraceful customer service
Upon arriving a little over an hour late (during office hours), through no fault of our own, we were met with news that this meant a very large fine for our rental fee - over ten times the rental amount. When I asked to speak to the manager, the odious, rude, unempathetic, unsympathetic, objectionable man on the desk told me he WAS the manager, and then just laughed when I said I want to speak to HIS manager. I don't think I've ever met such terrible customer relations. He appeared to resent that we'd booked through an agent, and so wasn't receiving as much of the fee as he obviously felt entitled to. On reading other reviews, I've no doubt he would have added a "cleaning fee" or similar, if we'd have taken up the rental. After being met with such an attitude, I decided that I'd rather lose my deposit and go with another company than give him the business. Avoid at all costs!!
