The water softener has been installed for 10 months. During that time there have been a couple of separate issues regarding it's operation reducing the softening quality. On both occasions Monarch have been very supportive and on both occasion have rectified the issue effectively with minimal fuss. Overall the unit is excellent and so is the service that I have received from Monarch.
Dom fixed the issue with my softener and gave a full explanation of what had caused the problem. Very happy with the service from Monarch, I highly recommend using this company.

From my initial telephone enquiry to the actual service by Richard Lawrence, their professionalism, courtesy and communications were excellent throughout - great customer service and I will definitely use them next time!
I signed up for a salt subscription, which means I get the salt that I know is high quality and specially sourced to work with my water softener. It's now delivered on a regular basis so I don't need to trek out and lug bags home from the garage or garden centre! It saves getting my car all mucky too.
The Engineer arrived on time to correct a fault with my recently installed Monarch water softener. The work was carried out very efficiently and the engineer (Dave)
also spent time advising me on how to get the best from the system. He also took the trouble two weeks later to telephone and text me to check that everything was working properly. Excellent and friendly service
Monarch Water Softner HE adding air into system. Noisy
Monarch Water Softner HE has been gurgling in the night and adding air into system for some time. At some point even attempting to bounce in cabinet. Not sure why it does that? Not very comforting noise while trying to sleep.
Engineer visit is now booked and hopefully stops the noise and air in system.
The quality of these unit are rubbish. The reason they leak is the compression joints are plastic threading. The washer on my unit spilt and therefore I removed the washer and put a new one. But I cannot line up the compression fitting. Each time I line it up it just goes on crossed threaded because it is a very poor quality plastic fitting on the UNIT.
Fantastic level of after sales service! for once i have dealt with a company that answers the helpline and i not stuck in a que for 2 hrs lol just a human at the other end that actually listened and dealt with the service call on the spot, at to top it off the service tech arrived when they said he would with no fuss, part in hand and fixed my problem on the spot. service as it should be! well done 5 stars, 6 if i could...
David W is a great Monarch water softener engineer who came out to fix my softener. He was earlier than I expected which wasnβt a problem. Also he was friendly, polite, helpful, really good at his job & left everything clean & tidy after he fixed the problem. I would certainly recommend him. Heβs an asset to Monarch.
I reported a problem via email on Sunday, they called me Tuesday morning and the engineer came and fixed it first thing Wednesday morning. No charge all covered under the product guarantee. I wish every company could be as helpful and responsive as Monarch. 10 out of 10.
I purchased the machine in 2020.
However, the whole system was faulty in September 2022. After nearly 3 months and 2 visits from the engineer, he said that it was fixed.
Last week, I noticed the outside pipe nearest to the machine is leaking! I left an email to company and waiting for an answer.
Another frustration and inconvenience!
