Mint Mobile has mixed reviews from customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and reliable, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.
The phone plan for Mint has been great. But then i decided to buy a new phone with them. How dare I do that! Worst company ever. The phone never even made it to me and i was charged $500. I never got the phone and they refused any support at all. Confirmed delivered by Fedex to H.H.H. THAT IS NOT MY NAME. it was clearly stolen. I purchased insurance but i never even got the phone to activate it. Im tired of getting danced around. I want my money back.
I have wasted an hour in Europe trying to get WiFi calling to work. It has worked on and off and now Mint doesn't even recognize my number. I renewed (annual) on the condition they make the feature work from Europe and they promised. Now I've been on the phone twice, wasting 40 min on two diff calls with two reps, promising they would fix it. f Mint and they'd get a MINUS 1 if that were an option
There should be 2 separate reviews ,one for the service which seems good so far and the second for customer service website and app which totally SUCKS! Been trying all day to log in and it won't recognize either of my mint numbers so I have. O access to my accounts. Customer service is clueless. Spent hrs on the phone with them . They can't help. So now I'm stuck with no account access and no way to change payment method since I do not give payment information over the phone verbally
I just want to say, THE QUALITY OF MINT IS TERRIBLE FOR ME. I live in north Seattle, and I pay for the premium mint plan, and I'm only able to make calls and use data for about six hours per 24 day. During business hours, I rarely am even able to make a call l. Maybe there's something unique about my situation, but my advice is don't use mint if you live in Seattle and need a reliabke network.

Service is weak. App data is so slow to load and often gives an error. I can’t even use the mint app with mint service. Further, service is inconsistent. Load speeds vary. Sometimes there is NO service, sometimes sites load eventually. CS is variable as well. One rep said that I needed a new phone in order to use MM. Maybe, but probably not since it usually works (just not with MMl

I would actually give it 4 1/2 stars. Great coverage. Love not worrying about a cell bill each month. I do wish there was easier setup process. I’d love to recommend to my brother who is older and technologically challenged. It took me a few days to figure out some glitches I had after switching—having a dedicated person to help walk one through that process would have been helpful. Also, I wish it was a little cheaper to add data mid-cycle. I sometimes travel and go through the data more quickly during those times. Adding data mid-month is a little higher probably due to the company incentivizing customers to choose a bigger plan at the beginning of the cycle. Overall, I’m quite happy and will stay with them for as long as the service remains solid! Thanks, Mint Team!
