Mint Mobile has mixed reviews from customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and reliable, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.
The phone plan for Mint has been great. But then i decided to buy a new phone with them. How dare I do that! Worst company ever. The phone never even made it to me and i was charged $500. I never got the phone and they refused any support at all. Confirmed delivered by Fedex to H.H.H. THAT IS NOT MY NAME. it was clearly stolen. I purchased insurance but i never even got the phone to activate it. Im tired of getting danced around. I want my money back.
I have wasted an hour in Europe trying to get WiFi calling to work. It has worked on and off and now Mint doesn't even recognize my number. I renewed (annual) on the condition they make the feature work from Europe and they promised. Now I've been on the phone twice, wasting 40 min on two diff calls with two reps, promising they would fix it. f Mint and they'd get a MINUS 1 if that were an option
There should be 2 separate reviews ,one for the service which seems good so far and the second for customer service website and app which totally SUCKS! Been trying all day to log in and it won't recognize either of my mint numbers so I have. O access to my accounts. Customer service is clueless. Spent hrs on the phone with them . They can't help. So now I'm stuck with no account access and no way to change payment method since I do not give payment information over the phone verbally
I just want to say, THE QUALITY OF MINT IS TERRIBLE FOR ME. I live in north Seattle, and I pay for the premium mint plan, and I'm only able to make calls and use data for about six hours per 24 day. During business hours, I rarely am even able to make a call l. Maybe there's something unique about my situation, but my advice is don't use mint if you live in Seattle and need a reliabke network.

Just got the 12-month unlimited plan for $180/year. Same price as 5 gigs/year. Could not pass up that great price. Rep walked me through activation and I could actually understand him!!! At this point, I am glad I switched.

Mint Mobile said they would give me a refund when I changed carriers. They did not!! I called the day after my phone subscription ended. They said they could not port out my number without an active subscription. So I had to pay for three months as that is their minimum. They then said they would release my number and give me a refund. I received the account# and pin and then changed carriers. Mint Mobile did not give me a refund for the three months I had to purchase. Their reasons to not pay the refund is that you have to have an account to port out. Then they closed the account and cannot give a refund because the account is closed. It is a total rip-off. If you are wanting to escape them you must do it at the end of your current policy, not after that way you don't lose as much money. I feel like this is so illegal.

My child ordered a phone and service then decided to go with a different carrier. Has been trying to cancel this order for a week now. They still haven't mailed out the phone. Today we talked to Brian in customer service who sounded like he was try to help until it was time to give us a ticket number. Instead of getting a ticket # he blocked the phone # we were calling from. We've already tried the online refund and can't get anywhere with that either.

I am surprised at the reliability and service of this pre paid phone service with excellent reception and good data at a lower price.I am coming from a costly more expensive big name phone company that couldn't lower my rates any lower because my plan didn't exist any more. I was with Sprint that changed to TMOBILE. I was a loyal customer for years they couldn't lower my rates to were I could afford them.My life changing disability changed everything I lost my health and my job.I just needed a lower price plan that would help me in my new situation. Mint mobile surprised me with a great unlimited talk and data plan that was so low I had to give it a try. I was able to keep my old phone in service with this company.Thanks to you Mint Mobile I have been able to contact and take care of my business with no issues online or making important calls.

Ok I'm being completely honest they literally stole $180 from me for a year of service that they refuse to activate and will not refund! Idc what the excuse is figure it out! That's real messed up!
