I recently used the Tooting Bec branch of Marsh and Parson to sell my property and cannot speak highly enough of their Director, Angelo Mulholland. Angelo and Thomas Syms were reliable and honest in their dealings with me, they are both highly experienced agents who know the wider housing market and the local market well and understand the impact of the change in one on the other. Connor Marney, managed the on-the-ground marketing and sale of my property, an absolute star! Calm and reliable, unfailingly polite and hard working I felt really fortunate having Connor as part of my sales team. A big thank you to M&P, I have no hesitation in recommending you!

I worked with Marsh and Parsons to do a short-term lease. My agent rushed me to send over full funds (deposit and entirety of rent) immediately to secure the flat, warning me that I might not get the place otherwise, so I did. He wrote to confirm that I got the place. A month later, he said that I actually did not get the place as apparently the landlord was no longer renting it out, despite the contract and confirmation. He “generously” — that’s sarcasm — offered to refund the money. When he sent it back, it was short $1k. He refused to do anything else about it. Not only did he fail to fulfill contract obligations and screw me over that way, he also caused me financial loss for the privilege.

Do NOT rent with them if you value your money, health, and time

I rented a property through Marsh & Parsons (M&P) at their Clapham branch. During the tenancy, M&P was responsible for the maintenance of the flat, yet we consistently dealt with issues such as recurrent mouse infestations and hazardous mould, which were never properly addressed. The issues persisted even after the tenancy ended. Despite vacating the property nearly two months ago, I am still awaiting the return of my deposit. It seems M&P and the landlord are cooperating closely, leaving me without transparency. I have been asked to pay again for cleaning the property after a company recommended by M&P did the original cleaning and the money was sent directly to M&P. Most concerning is that M&P reported a lower deposit amount to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme than what was stipulated in my tenancy agreement, and they are not amending this error despite my request that they do so. I strongly advise caution to anyone considering renting through Marsh & Parsons. My experience has been deeply frustrating, and I hope others can avoid similar difficulties.
