Ordered a sim card and a prepaid plan. Upon completed payment the site returned a page with "Internal Server Error". The transaction was successfully completed (confirmed on my credit card statement), but no confirmation email or any other information was given. Customer support is very much unavailable, hiding behind a prerecorded message claiming "longer times than usual". This message is on regardless on time of day. So, when is "usual"? The LIA chatbot is hopelessly unhelpful and useless.

I signed up with them as they promised free roaming service for calls texts and data but my sim simply does not work outside Sweden and when I called about it they said I had to pay extra for roaming even though they promised it for free and then hung up on me.

Update 28-02-2020: Finally resolved, someone from the Lyca Trust team was good and got my address updated. ______________________________________ Update 22-02-2020: Some progress, but still not resolved yet. Provided all details and waiting, back to square one ... Really inconvenient. Provided all details and waiting, back to square one ... ______________________________________ 12-02-2020 I'm trying to get my profile address updated on my account in Lycamobile Sweden website. It shows some weird error both from my android mobile and laptop web browser. I've sent lyca customer service all the details and provided all ID proofs as requested. But after that they have disappeared and not responding. Even I called on their number 3332 but no use.

Hi! I attached a copy from my Facebook chat with Lycamobile (with sensitive information blanked out). I flew to Berlin and my data simply didn't work. I had a bundle with EU roaming and I even had leftover credit - the internet just didn't work. It didn't work for my partner either, who has the Lycamobile and the same bundle as me. It had one moment when it worked for 5 min, which was when I landed with the plane and disabled airplane mode while I was still in the plane. By the time I got out of the plane, it didn't work for quite some time, until later, when I thought it got fixed due to the Lycamobile team helping me (as depicted in the chat below). Therefore, I promptly expressed my gratitude for solving the problem. Unfortunately, it didn't work 5 min later too, funnily enough being after I expressed my thanks (which is not depicted in the chat, something that happened soon after). I simply just didn't bother to ask for help again. The whole experience made me feel defeated and I think I will have to upgrade to a better mobile subscriber than Lycamobile this year. 11/29/19, 11:42 AM Hi, My mobile data roaming in Germany doesn't work. Had a positive view about lycamobile today after my previous experience speaking to their customer service. spoke to one Linnea who was so helpful and nice, very calm and was ready to listen to my questions and as well comes up with a solution. she made it too easy from what am used to with lycamobile.
Bad customer service, weak connection, and dysfunctional website. Have been without network connection for many days now and loosing on my bundle time which will be the last as i will be moving to another provider because customer service have not given me any answer or helped me to solve the issue as well as other problems that i got tired of with Lycamobile. For example, i cannot find my address on the website and therefore i cannot register and therefore cannot do many important things that require registration first which is very frustrating. The connection is weak in many areas from my experience and in fact it disappears sometimes completely. I would absolutely NOT recommend Lycamobile. It might seem that they have better prices but compared to the problems i've mentioned it is totally NOT worth it. I had been very patient and tried to contact with them many times and get their help to solve these problems but the level of frustration from the lack of response or solutions has become unbearable as i had been without network connection for many days now.
