Extremely Disappointed with their Unfair Practices

I booked a free course with Flexible Learning by mistake, realising almost immediately that it wasn’t the right level for me. I contacted them the very next day to cancel — before accessing any materials or participating in anything — only to be told I’d be charged a £125 “admin fee” to cancel. While I understand there was a clause about this fee for non-completion, it’s completely unreasonable to enforce it when the course was clearly booked in error and cancellation was requested promptly. I didn’t benefit from the course in any way, and yet they’re still demanding payment. Worse still, the course was advertised as free, but this cancellation charge wasn’t made clear upfront. It feels misleading and unfair — and their refusal to show any flexibility or understanding shows a complete lack of customer care. I would not recommend Flexible Learning to anyone based on this experience. If you make an honest mistake, don’t expect any compassion — just a bill.

Amazing

My tutor was amazing, patient and knew how to teach! my mental health was not grate when I started but my manager and tutor was amazing and so supportive, I finished level 2 hair dressing and am now onto level 3 and honestly loving it. Definitely recommend! well definitely recommend the camden branch all tutors are amazing kind and patient but in a constructive way. Had the best experience in level 2 hairdressing.

The course in my opinion was a level 3

The course was in my opinion a level 3. However, I felt that there was little understanding when it came to withdrawing due to a bereavement, therefore, I would not choose or recommend Learning Group courses.

COMPLETED COURSE DID NOT RECEIVE…

COMPLETED COURSE DID NOT RECEIVE CERTIFICATE. I have been messed around for 8 months and I have now reported them and Oaklands College to the ESFA I urge anyone else waiting for a certificate to do the same. They are taking money and not upholding their side of the bargain. Disgusting. And as for the reply. I’ve been in constant contact the whole time and still no certificate. Waste of time.
