I booked a free course with Flexible Learning by mistake, realising almost immediately that it wasn’t the right level for me. I contacted them the very next day to cancel — before accessing any materials or participating in anything — only to be told I’d be charged a £125 “admin fee” to cancel. While I understand there was a clause about this fee for non-completion, it’s completely unreasonable to enforce it when the course was clearly booked in error and cancellation was requested promptly. I didn’t benefit from the course in any way, and yet they’re still demanding payment. Worse still, the course was advertised as free, but this cancellation charge wasn’t made clear upfront. It feels misleading and unfair — and their refusal to show any flexibility or understanding shows a complete lack of customer care. I would not recommend Flexible Learning to anyone based on this experience. If you make an honest mistake, don’t expect any compassion — just a bill.
My tutor was amazing, patient and knew how to teach! my mental health was not grate when I started but my manager and tutor was amazing and so supportive, I finished level 2 hair dressing and am now onto level 3 and honestly loving it. Definitely recommend! well definitely recommend the camden branch all tutors are amazing kind and patient but in a constructive way. Had the best experience in level 2 hairdressing.

I enjoyed working on the course and learning new concepts and applications of concepts in real time in my own job. The materials were all good but only provided pointers and definitions, the student needs to research other materials thoroughly to gain a full understanding. However, when I signed up to the course, I wasn't told that it starts straight away. The time between modules was very short and for someone in a full time job, it is quite heavy. The course work itself was explained as - online, just need to learn and answer a few questions. However in reality, only the first module had 6 questions, the other two modules had over 20 questions each with a lot of sub questions requiring researching various websites and materials for answers. The response text boxes do not allow you to copy and paste - so if you start typing on word or any other document from where you want to copy and paste, this was not allowed and it was highly inconvenient. In module 2, I had given my own answers to some of the questions with live examples from my current work place, however I received feedback that there was AI detected on them which again was highly disappointing. I had to rewrite them again and was so confused and unsure as to how I should go about it as my original answers were already as original as they can be. Finally, the certificate - the modules all have a strict deadline and although you can extend (which I did not do), you have to submit within very tight deadlines, but the certificate takes up to 3 months to arrive which is highly disappointing.

Doing the Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Domestic Abuse 603/7168/7 WB was amazing. I learned so much. It was comprehensive and easy to follow. I am now doing a Level 2 Counselling Course. I highly recommend Learning Curve Group courses.
