Extremely Disappointed with their Unfair Practices
I booked a free course with Flexible Learning by mistake, realising almost immediately that it wasn’t the right level for me. I contacted them the very next day to cancel — before accessing any materials or participating in anything — only to be told I’d be charged a £125 “admin fee” to cancel. While I understand there was a clause about this fee for non-completion, it’s completely unreasonable to enforce it when the course was clearly booked in error and cancellation was requested promptly. I didn’t benefit from the course in any way, and yet they’re still demanding payment. Worse still, the course was advertised as free, but this cancellation charge wasn’t made clear upfront. It feels misleading and unfair — and their refusal to show any flexibility or understanding shows a complete lack of customer care. I would not recommend Flexible Learning to anyone based on this experience. If you make an honest mistake, don’t expect any compassion — just a bill.
Amazing
My tutor was amazing, patient and knew how to teach! my mental health was not grate when I started but my manager and tutor was amazing and so supportive, I finished level 2 hair dressing and am now onto level 3 and honestly loving it. Definitely recommend! well definitely recommend the camden branch all tutors are amazing kind and patient but in a constructive way. Had the best experience in level 2 hairdressing.

What's the goal of a level 3 from the Learning Curve if you cannot continue to a level 4?
This was my first level 3 with the Learning Curve Group, although I have done a few level 2 with them. At first, I was a bit disappointed because my tutor was not engaging at all, and her comments were very "light," but they changed the tutor, which made a complete difference to me. My only negative comment is about my specific course, Counselling Skills Level 3. Because it is online, a lot of level 4 courses don't accept my certificate, and this is something that was never said to me. I was doing level 3, thinking of progressing to level 4 to be able to practice, but I haven't found so far ONE course that accepts it and that I can practice after it. There are loads of "supposed level 4" courses online, but you don't get to practice after. I have asked my tutor about this a few times, but he has never answered. So, I am guessing this is a gap in the education they provide for level 3. I would love to hear an explanation and some guidance on how to follow through a level 4 where I can practice afterwards.
