Extremely Disappointed with their Unfair Practices
I booked a free course with Flexible Learning by mistake, realising almost immediately that it wasn’t the right level for me. I contacted them the very next day to cancel — before accessing any materials or participating in anything — only to be told I’d be charged a £125 “admin fee” to cancel. While I understand there was a clause about this fee for non-completion, it’s completely unreasonable to enforce it when the course was clearly booked in error and cancellation was requested promptly. I didn’t benefit from the course in any way, and yet they’re still demanding payment. Worse still, the course was advertised as free, but this cancellation charge wasn’t made clear upfront. It feels misleading and unfair — and their refusal to show any flexibility or understanding shows a complete lack of customer care. I would not recommend Flexible Learning to anyone based on this experience. If you make an honest mistake, don’t expect any compassion — just a bill.
Amazing
My tutor was amazing, patient and knew how to teach! my mental health was not grate when I started but my manager and tutor was amazing and so supportive, I finished level 2 hair dressing and am now onto level 3 and honestly loving it. Definitely recommend! well definitely recommend the camden branch all tutors are amazing kind and patient but in a constructive way. Had the best experience in level 2 hairdressing.

I enjoyed the course but I had issues with the tutor .. she wasn’t very helpful and gave incorrect feedback and advice.

Too demanding
Too demanding! I started a level 3 course just after completing a level 3 course at my local college. The college didn't care how much I wrote as long as I proved I understood it, they also gave me an academic year to complete it. Learning Curve expects me to write multiple paragraphs for each question, 10 questions per unit, 8 units! All within 3 months! I wasn't warned about how long the course would be until after I'd agreed that I'd pay £125 for non-completion. I feel scammed and trapped into constant revisions because my answers are never long enough for them. I thought this would be a fun course I could do in my spare time and now I've had to make it a priority because it's so demanding. This course has had a severe negative impact on my mental health and I just want to quit.
