Extremely Disappointed with their Unfair Practices

I booked a free course with Flexible Learning by mistake, realising almost immediately that it wasn’t the right level for me. I contacted them the very next day to cancel — before accessing any materials or participating in anything — only to be told I’d be charged a £125 “admin fee” to cancel. While I understand there was a clause about this fee for non-completion, it’s completely unreasonable to enforce it when the course was clearly booked in error and cancellation was requested promptly. I didn’t benefit from the course in any way, and yet they’re still demanding payment. Worse still, the course was advertised as free, but this cancellation charge wasn’t made clear upfront. It feels misleading and unfair — and their refusal to show any flexibility or understanding shows a complete lack of customer care. I would not recommend Flexible Learning to anyone based on this experience. If you make an honest mistake, don’t expect any compassion — just a bill.

My son suffers from depression and…

My son suffers from depression and keeps having to resubmit his answers. He says he just can't complete and us now being treated as though he has withdrawn. They say they are invoicing him £125 but he only gets £250 a mint UC and even that stopped since caregivers allowance. Both benefits now ceased and he gets billed for trying really really hard.

Outstanding tutor Peter and exceptional bootcamp experience

I highly recommend the Project Management Bootcamp with Learning Curve Group. The organisation is exceptionally well-structured, and the registration process was smooth and consistently updated. Our tutor, Peter Tonks, was outstanding. His extensive knowledge and unique teaching style made the learning experience both enjoyable and effective. Peter took the time to explain concepts thoroughly, never rushing through any topic, and was always available to answer all questions. His encouragement and willingness to address queries significantly boosted my confidence. Peter's passion for the APM qualification and his commitment to our learning were truly inspiring. He even went above and beyond to provide additional information, which has been invaluable as I prepare to start a business focused on Project Scheduling. His dedication and expertise set him apart, and I genuinely wish more tutors possessed such exceptional skills. If you’re considering the bootcamp, I wholeheartedly recommend Peter, the programme, and Learning Curve Group. Peter is truly one in a million.

Shorten the workbook

The staff was helpful. But my problems with the course were : 1. I was told I could take my time to complete the course, so I expected atleast 3 - 4 months. But then I was told that I had to complete the course by 30th July and could not be given an extension. This made it very inconvenient for me. Especially because the answers have to be lengthly covering many points. 2. It would be better if the workbook to complete were multiple choice questions rather than completing lengthly answers, which is very time consuming and stressful especially if you have only 2 months to cover such a vast topic.

I completed my training October of last year. I emailed learning curve for almost a year and I just kept getting ignored. I haven’t received my certificate and I just heard back from the provide. Advising that I’ll another 3months before I can get in contact to chase my certificate. Mind you they have been funded by the government to run these courses and have received payments for me as a learner. Overall very disappointed in learning curve.

Informative course.

Tutor introduced herself at the beginning of the course and gave prompt detailed feedback when marking the units. There was a slight confusion regarding the finish date and when the final unit should be submitted. The course was very informative and will be useful to my job role.
