Extremely Disappointed with their Unfair Practices
I booked a free course with Flexible Learning by mistake, realising almost immediately that it wasn’t the right level for me. I contacted them the very next day to cancel — before accessing any materials or participating in anything — only to be told I’d be charged a £125 “admin fee” to cancel. While I understand there was a clause about this fee for non-completion, it’s completely unreasonable to enforce it when the course was clearly booked in error and cancellation was requested promptly. I didn’t benefit from the course in any way, and yet they’re still demanding payment. Worse still, the course was advertised as free, but this cancellation charge wasn’t made clear upfront. It feels misleading and unfair — and their refusal to show any flexibility or understanding shows a complete lack of customer care. I would not recommend Flexible Learning to anyone based on this experience. If you make an honest mistake, don’t expect any compassion — just a bill.

Amazing
My tutor was amazing, patient and knew how to teach! my mental health was not grate when I started but my manager and tutor was amazing and so supportive, I finished level 2 hair dressing and am now onto level 3 and honestly loving it. Definitely recommend! well definitely recommend the camden branch all tutors are amazing kind and patient but in a constructive way. Had the best experience in level 2 hairdressing.

Amazing experience!
I completed a course with The Learning Curve on Understanding Cancer, which really supported me in my volunteer work with a cancer charity. The course content was intense but the support I received was excellent. I would highly recommend courses with this organisation. 👌

I wish I had known... …
The Tutor was very nice but communication was very much at their convenience,also be aware that these courses require you to pass every question, so when there are about 150 of them this is quite a challenge. Unlike in traditional education where 70%would be a pass. In addition it took a great deal more time than I was led to believe, both the course itself and the time it took to get completed work marked and returned. In addition I was up against a final deadline with no flexibility, this seemed to be dependent upon the college who you were under, not something the student can control. Overall the course was very thorough but it's doubtful I will undertake another.

10/10 I have completed 2 courses with them and I felt I had great support all the way throughout. The content and learning texts are fantastic. Great communication from tutors and always provided great feedback. I will definitely continue to widen my learning with them.

The information was clearly presented
The information was clearly presented. More interactive features would be a welcome addition. I did email customer support requesting an extension but was told that it wasn't an option and that if I needed to request an extension to do it the day the assessment was due (which wasn't guaranteed to be granted). I had explained to my tutor that I had health needs as well as working full time that meant I might need to request an extension and she said that she would be happy for me to have an extension but would need to go through customer support!
